LSF is beastly line but the first thing thart SS have to do isnt kill M.Canale´s work

and after take off two gorgeous alternative heads, they put $ 1999.99 [/ B] it seems that they're laughing of the people

The model for the LSF, take your own conclusions

:horror wow! What happen to. Both those other heads? I like both of those better then the current head. For that price it should have had all 3 heads. Now that would have been a very cool LSF! I love the unmasked one best and then the opened mouth one I think looks better then the sad facial expression on e we got. But that's my own opinion. A brown repaint with the other two heads would rock and get some nice pocket change as a extra LSF!

Just admit you either can't afford it or it's too pricey. Whining over a muscle on a piece of art and using it to justify your decision to not to purchase it is weak. It's like hating on the statue of David cos the proportions are off.

the person who noticed the issue is purchasing it.

personally I welcome all criticism (big and small) if done constructively, which I find is the case here.

The proportion issues on the David were all done to accentuate the view of the statue from the original main viewing angle which was straight on in a public square. The fact that most pics are taken from the side is just because it was set up that way after being put inside after a mob tried to destroy it.

I don't see anyone REALLY saying they aren't going to buy this because te anatomy is tweaked a bit.

However, like I said "testy"
the person who noticed the issue is purchasing it.

As far as I am concerned it was handled with respect and I think the conversation can die now ... Lol

if this piece came with all 3 head versions, it would of been much tougher for me to say no to.

I like the piece a lot. But, passed on it. Waiting for Batman LSF, and maybe Spider-Man.

TBH, the triceps bothered me too, I usually love the muscles on Gore groups work, but this is one case where they overdid it, or maybe its some peoples perspective, I dont like the Koto eric sosa sculpts too where i feel all the muscles are over exagerrated, while i like Bowen sculpts maybe their art is closer to the 70s 80s artwork i grew up on whereas sosas work based on art seen in most 90s comic

my problem is the direction in which the bicep is bulging/pointing (down and in) which is awkward/if not impossible, when the forearm and fist are inclined more outwardly and away. The forearm and fist are actually behaving opposite to what they should in this scenario. It's a matter of degrees making it look less natural. Pivot the bicep more outward a bit, or twist the fist more inward and the arm structure will look more correct- despite the absurd size of the muscles themselves.

I agree that there is a place for 'attitude over accuracy', especially in the realm of cartooning. But attitude needs to be informed by fact otherwise it is just amateurish nonsense (see: Rob Liefield). Also, this regard for attitude at the expense of accuracy is more of virtue when the overwhelming nature of the enterprise isn't concerned with mimicking real life. The thrust of this piece is "wow! It looks so real!" and it does- except for this one aspect.

Hey Mose you previously said " Sadly, I'm just not good with words to illustrate visual points".

Your above description shows you do have words to illustrate what you don't like about the sculpts arms...:)

Haha no kidding, right? His reply read as if he was troubleshooting a sculpt for NASA.

Holy technical foul, Batman!

It was clear and concise ... Not his fault you didn't get it...:wink1::rotfl:rotfl

Thanks for coming to the rescue, big brother but I understood his "clear and concise" reply just fine. I'll defend this statue to the grave, dude. It's a "clear and concise" interpretation of Wolverine, everyone knows it, even you, and that guy came in here nitpicking for the sake of an argument. I can tell he enjoys debate, but if he wants to debate something, then maybe he should wander into the Superman PF thread and debate that God-awful EX head. Yeah you know, the one that you defend to the grave?

Steven

If you guys have any doubt about Troy's skills for making another head for our beloved Wolverine Legendary scale figure here, take a look at his latest work for the Joker PF!
(Once I have a WIP I will post it)

Great sculpt. It looks just like the Death of the Family joker for sure. The costum doesn't match but not a big deal.

Yea, I hope his wolverine sculpt doesn't resemble anything that creepy. Those Gore sculpts can't be beaten, but as long as its equally as great, that's all that matters.

Now why would it be this creepy?
Have you in fact seen his head sculpt for the kit he did?
I agree the Gore Sculpt is something else! But its not included :dunno so.... :monkey2 we cant cry about it, someone is just doing another!
Like I said, like a HT head sculpt but much much better :)

Actually, in the end in his exampe he is talking fact and your example you are talking opinion, but I can see you aren't really up for having an intelligent discussion so no point in going around and around.:slap
