Dont suppose anyone has got any updates on the custom Wolverine headsculpts for the LSF yet? Would be interesting to see how they are coming along if at all? :dunno

Lol, it's now July 1st and they're still showing estimated delivery in June. I swear to God, these guys are so low. Anything to get people to commit to that NRD. They changed the total amount left at the last minute too...prolly to try and get just a few more people to bite before they're absolutely forced to list it as IN STOCK. SS sucks.

I got mine through a retailer and they don't know anything either. I already paid for the whole thing almost 2 months ago.....really lame

Hey Andy, I've not seen you on these boards for awhile or I've just been completely missing your posts :)

yea Andy hope alls well :)..... got my wolf predator :love it

Hey guys, great to hear from you. Yea, all is super thanks. Baby Rocco is taking up most of my time as expected so unfortunately I don't have the free time that I'm usually used to, same goes with my collecting....it's all come to a halt at the moment. Not that I'm complaining, I've always wanted a son and I couldn't be more happier....my family is now complete and I'm just having the time of my life watching my little girl and newborn son grow up :)

P.S. congrats on the wolf Dave!!

Congrats bud. All the best with the new addition. Rocco is a good Italian name. Surprised you didn't go with Roberto lol. Hope you enjoyed the shootout win yesterday. Viva Italia

Thanks my friend :1-1: I always had it planned out that my son would be called Rocco. Infact we named him Rocco Romeo :) in my huge Italian family we already have at least 3 Robertos so I couldn't use that again :lol

I did enjoy the shoot out mate, was so gutted we couldn't be more clinical against the Spanish in the semis as I thought we deserved the win overall. So glad Brazil beat em in the final though! :yess: will we now see the demise of the greatest football team to have graced the beautiful game? Spain have been great but every team has its time...it wasn't so long ago that France were winning absolutely everything....look at them now! In my opinion, a lot of national teams are becoming all equally successful. Brazil, Germany, Italy are all emerging with new and young talents...

Except England. They just keep getting worse :slap

Spain are still the best team in the world, it's just one bad result

Just got off the phone with a SS CSR.
They're finally getting the next batch in (notice I didn't say final batch) and billing will start the 12th.

Unfortunately for me, when it was clear they weren't going to be getting any of these out in June I panicked and set up a flex pay schedule- even though my intention was to pay it off in full as soon as they had one available.
Now because of that, I'm pushed to the back of the line and will likely not get dibs on any of the ones coming in July.
With a congested, on the road work schedule starting in Aug and lasting until end of Oct, looks like I'm not going to see this until late fall- which means
1) if I have any problems with it I'm not going to have time to go back and forth looking for replacements (since I hit the road again in January). It will either have to come in perfect, or it's going back for good.
2) I was an idiot for letting my waitlist flip over back in early June. I don't need to let SS sit on my money for 5 months. AAARRGGGHHHH.

well that's good to hear. The site says there is less than 50 now. I think ppl are waiting to see what will be shown at sdcc this year before ordering. Not many ppl got the first batch, so hopefully they will have a lot more ready.

Well after a crazy 2 months of going back and forward with Sideshow regarding my damaged claws we've finally reached an agreement. I've recieved 3 replacement claws and all have arrived either with broken/loose blades or the colour of the gloves have been majorly different. Have to say in the end SSC have been very generous in their credit this time and have issued me a $250 credit with no expiry date to place on any item of my choice. With Comic Con just around the corner this credit will come in nicely!

As for the claws, well i've stuck with my original set and managed to successfully fix the issues myself...all is well that ends well i suppose :)

That's a really good outcome glad it all turned out ok

So after a few months of ownership do you still love it as much?

Mines still a few months off :-(

Cheers Ant, yea...the credit will come in really handy! Almost saved enough outright to pay off the entire amount for the Doom LSF (if ive calculated it to be in the $2000-2225 price range) so the extra $250 credit will come in handy, especially if we see a new Iron Man piece at Comic Con :yess:

As for the Wolverine LSF, once you ever get the chance to own an LSF then i dont think you'll ever lose love for it...LSF's are just on another level altogether from your PF's or Comiquettes, etc...

Yeah I can't wait to see wolverine in hand although I've got a list of statues I'm after now and I think I'm done then unless new wolverine stuff comes out.

I'm done after the Doom LSF...wont be able to finance any new pieces. If you do see me pick new stuff up then its purely down to selling parts of my collection to raise the funds. Unfortunately, this hobby is incredibly difficult to maintain year in year out, especially when you have a family and bills to pay, plus the factor of not having the space to display everything comes into it too! For me personally, i have go through my collection and sieve through all the pieces that are must keeps and then say goodbye to the rest...its a fact that as every Comic Con that goes by each year its guaranteed that something will be unveiled that you just have to have! typical! :slap

Yeah I'm going to be in the same boat soon and I really want to get a motorbike so going to have to stop preordering.
Most go straight in the attic at the moment :-(

They told me they didn't have any replacement claws for my chipped replacement one and only gave me $85 credit.

Really?! Thats sucks! Well for what its worth my situation with SSC proper ran its course! 2 months in total after recieving 3 different hands/claws and i even recieved a phone call to apologise - which i've never experienced before :dunno...i was surprised at the credit i was given due to their previous small credits of $45 and $50 but for a $2000 statue which i expected to arrive in perfect condition, $250 was the least i'd have accepted!
