Sideshow confirmed a brown costume last year. Prolly be on an x base to go with the other x men

Is this in regards to a PF or LSF?


Just got two emails from SS.
One was the ship notice for Poison Ivy. The other that my waitlist resv for this flipped over and will become active Monday. I'm going to cancel it for now. No, it's not over the muscles- my CC billing cycle ends on the 8th and this isn't going to be shipping before that anyway. No need to let SS sit on $500 of mine for no reason. If I thought this had any chance of selling out of those (last?) 60 units in the next ten days, I wouldn't chance it. But I really think they shot themselves in the foot with that tweet a few weeks back. Every time SS cries wolf on quantity, it creates more cynics.
Besides, I'd like some time to enjoy having Ivy around before I have to scramble to make room for this beast.

The box label definitely points to another costume at some point for the LSF.
But with several costumes to choose from, the brown wouldn't necessarily be a slam dunk.

At least I hope not as that's likely the only thing to give me any faint twinge of buyers remorse in the future.

As much as I love the brown outfit (my favorite), I wouldn't go with this version of the character for 1/2. I'd get the most iconic costume he's got and that's the yellow/black stripes one

Besides the material for the brown costume would be hard to get right as I don't picture it as cloth or spandex. More like some sort of vinyl or leather

I'm a fan of both costumes, but I'm also curious to see how they do the brown costume If they do decide to come out with the brown for the 1:2 scale, that is. I'm more a fan of the blue, mainly because of the shoulder armor...it just adds something cooler to his image. I think SS gave themselves away when they specifically identified the color of the costume on the box. Who knows how long they'll take to come out with it. Maybe it'll be the same time gap it took for them to come out with the Blackhole Stormtrooper from the original white one.

As far as a different pose goes, it'd be nice if they came up with a new one, but seeing what they did with the recent PF Stormtroopers, the Comiquette Hulks, and others, I wouldn't bet on it.

Besides that they're not metal, what's everyone think of his claws? I love how they 'fan out' a little. I noticed that for some of the smaller scale statues, his claws look a lot like Vega's from Street Fighter (more parallel to each other), and I'm not too sure if I like that so much. I'm happy they didn't make 'em look like that with this one.

The point of no return approaches.

Wasn't Darth Maul sold out and on wait list too? that one also shows 60 left.

Congratulations Ricardo! Looks like he arrived safe and sound too.

They just charged my deposit on this Monday. Normally I wouldn't care, but I have a feeling the rest of the stock isn't going to show up in June, as the product page keeps saying. The farther it gets pushed into July, the less time I'll have to address any issues with returns or replacements, should I have to.
That has me a bit concerned. Especially after seeing how many people had problems with Ivy. Mine came in with no real issues, so between Galactus and Wolverine, I'm probably due for some.

Brown shipping box arrived destroyed and re-taped by Brazilian Postal service. Black boxes were ok with just a few dings.
Thankfully Wolverine was spotless. What a masterpiece done by Sideshow. Huge, heavy and well done. Painting is amazing and fabrics are top notch.
I know $2000 is a lot for a statue but you cannot compare with a PF price as the quality of a LSF is way better.

We need a Hulk LSF, so I can ignore the rest. Why get multiple or Grey Hulk PF, when I can get this. Hopefully, the quality is as good as this wolvie seem to be.

A Hulk LFS would be the ultimate Hulk. It would be a pain to have it shipped.
I would love to get a Spider LSF also. These are the only 2 characters I will be getting at this scale.
