I guess by 'box office' I mean opening weekend. After that word of mouth will either kill it or not. Opening weekend numbers are going to be huge, piracy or not. If opening weekend is huge but then it sinks like a stone, that pretty much proves piracy is NOT at fault, but a bad product is. I'm definitely going to see it opening weekend though - can't help myself, it's Hugh Jackman as Wolverine I will probably laugh at some of it, but hey, I enjoyed X-Men 3 ... so kill me

I agree with you Dusty. I enjoyed X-Men 3 as well and I'll go to see this too. I'm betting I'll enjoy it!

And that right there is why FOX will keep making terrible movies. They have no incentive to make these things good, because people will lap up the garbage.

Just because you think it will or is bad, doesn't mean the rest of us will.

I don't read comics so I don't care if it's true to them or not. I just go to movies to be entertained.

Yes, I know nothing of the comics but I enjoyed the film for what it was. Wish Gambit had a bigger role though.

I don't read comics so I don't care if it's true to them or not. I just go to movies to be entertained.

I don't follow Wolverine in the comics these days so I have no idea how close the movie is to the source. For example, I would never have known there was anything wrong with Deadpool (or even that it was Deadpool) until other fans started mentioning it. I'm also not that bothered by how close a comic movie is to the source material - The Dark Knight is nothing like the comics and X2 is brilliant even though virtually every detail is changed. All I know is that this movie sucks. I was laughing in disbelief almost all the way through.

And the more people who pay to see this sort of thing, the more they'll keep making them at this level of quality instead of, you know, good.

Like I said, everyone's opinion is different and I'll wait to see the official finished product in the theater before I pass judgement on it. There were alot of people saying it would suck even before the trailers were released.

I'm glad to be in the minority at this point.

I thought it was a good movie. It was an origin flick and it set out to do it and did it well IMO. This is what a spin-off should be IMO.

Don't know much about DP so i really can't comment, but being a Wolvie fan i'm satisfied.

There are many LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL moments in this movie. But most for the wrong reasons. Workprint with unfinished FX or not, it would take a huge reshoot (and certainly the entire 3rd Act) to save this.

I'm not a product of the pokemon generation. SO no i didn't like it. Hugh is great but he is not the wolverine I grew up with. Deadpool was..ukingbanana. It was free but the film was coiled. That IS what i expected that's why I'll cry about it. Because they wasted it.

i'm glad everyone downloaded it. if nothing else, it saved them from disappointment and blowing $$.
read for yourself, it's a lousy movie and maybe FOX will now learn to quit making them.
