^^^^ DEADPOOL. The movie is called WOLVERINE.

Wait till the DP spin-off to care and complain. JESUS CHRIST ON A CRACKER. You'd think this movie is called "DP my comic fantasy's raped" by reading this thread. It's cool if you care about DP, but the movie is not about him he is a very small part of it. And even if they get it all wrong and it's not supposed to be how it is WITH HIM....WELCOME TO COMIC MOVIE Adaptations 101!

See ya one month from today, when i go see WOLVERINE! (HE'S THE ONLY ONE THEY NEED TO GET VERY RIGHT)

It was pretty good... not bad. I will still see in theaters, can't wait to see some of the effects.

The workprint leak is missing effects? A lot of them? Forget it, I'll just wait till the movie releases in theaters.

I'm starting to think this is a big April Fool's joke. Enjoy your malware!

It's not--Half the effects are unfinished and the shots aren't color corrected. The music is also not finished (they used the Transformers soundtrack)

I know this is a Spoilers thread, but please don't discuss this workprint here. I'd prefer if it wasn't mentioned at all - the last thing the industry needs is to make it easier for pirates.

Actually the industry is currently making record profits. Piracy is an interesting moral issue but it's also wildly overblown as a credible threat to Hollywood. They can't have their cake and eat it, too.

Well, this is a good experiment actually - the industry doesn't have a leg to stand on regarding pirating if it doesn't affect box office (which it won't). For instance, Taken was widely available on torrents (good quality too) for a long time prior to its US release and it hasn't hurt the box office one bit.

This one is a bit of a different story though, since it's a workprint and someone quite obviously broke their confidentiality agreement in a big way. Because of THAT (not the pirating, per se), I hope they get the bastard!

The problem is, Wolverine is laughably bad. So when it bombs (or at least collapses in the second week), they're going to blame piracy instead of pointing the finger at themselves for trying to sell a terrible product. It's lose/lose whichever way you look at it. And because this is a "big" movie, nobody will consider your comment about Taken, or stop to look at record Hollywood profits and think, "Hang on, I thought you said piracy was a threat?"

I guess by 'box office' I mean opening weekend. After that word of mouth will either kill it or not. Opening weekend numbers are going to be huge, piracy or not. If opening weekend is huge but then it sinks like a stone, that pretty much proves piracy is NOT at fault, but a bad product is. I'm definitely going to see it opening weekend though - can't help myself, it's Hugh Jackman as Wolverine :naughty I will probably laugh at some of it, but hey, I enjoyed X-Men 3 ... so kill me :lol

come on its WOLVERINE!!! how many people are going to see it just because of the character??? regardless of how they feel about how crappy the movie might be i know that there are Wolvie lovers dying to go see it just to see it. (myself included)

And that right there is why FOX will keep making terrible movies. They have no incentive to make these things good, because people will lap up the garbage.

Actually, he plays a semi big part in it. He's the final villain. And he sucks. So bad. The movie itself, is decent. But the acting is awful, and (I only watched the last 50 minutes). I dunno...it was odd...i'll check it out in theaters...but I wont pay for it. (Fox movie);

Did I mention how much DP sucks? Holy christ.
