That's fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

But Patch couldn't use the existing mold or clothing pattern (at least, not Patch as I remember him in the comics). Doing the mods to make it look right would hardly be worth SS's investment if they were producing 50.

I was being facetious there, Karamazov80. No interest at all in Patch for me.:)

I couldn't see your pic at work, so apologies if that was obvious, but clearly the folks at Sideshow think collectors want to see Logan out on display--such as the unmasked Comiquette and PF, when first appearance extra head on the PF would have been much much much cooler.

Personally, I have no interest in posing any of my funny book characters with their masks and helmets off.

Its a great piece, but ____ hell man! $500 is just crazy. :cuckoo:

Sabretooth is just around the corner though :rock :rock :rock

Yea that's a for sure deal, that's no variant and is EPIC!!! We won't see another Sabretooh for a very long time. Maybe a Com down the road but this has be a long time coming for the Marvel fans.

No worries, dude. I wasn't trying to be a ****** like other people and say crap like "Your sarcasm / irony / (Insert word of your choice) meter must be broken".

I wonder if any of our talented artists on the board would be willing to sculpt a first appearance head like the figure on the right for this PF. I thought would have been a nice exclusive when it was first announced as the costume is basically the same.

I think I am going to start a post in the customs area and see if there is any interest.

yeah i'm also leaning towards cancelling the Mark VI in favor of the sabretooth. much more excitement towards sabes than IM right now imo.

So they announced the Hulk PPO ahead of time? I thought I read somewhere that the Neg. Zone Spidey appeared without notice.
The Grey Hulk was announced during SDCC. There were even a couple sold on the floor - by mistake/misunderstanding (I wonder how many... :)). The PPO (PPO = always announced ahead of time) happened shortly after.

The Neg zone Spidey came without notice, yes, but that is a common thing for SSC to do on Black and White Friday. You can always expect something completely unexpected to pop up during Black & White Friday! Some think the Brown Wolverine will make his apperance on this years B&W Friday. So, you're warned.
Now, the Grey Hulk vs Spider man diorama, that one really just appeared without notice. It popped up on the bottom of the ordering page of the Hulk vs Spider man exclusive diorama. Only the lucky few - 50 - that took their time and studied/read the ordering page discovered the 'hint' that lead to the ordering page for the Grey Hulk vs Spider man exclusive piece. I think some people still hate SSC for doing this. Well, it was an experiment not to be repeated! At least not as long as there's SSC fans around that missed out on this piece and are still vivid enough to swing a pitch fork! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Hulk, always a feast for the eye! More more more!!!!!

I agree with King Darkness: the base for Wolverine could have been a bit bigger. And, while nice, I would have preferred a less "forrest-ish" look of the base too. Would have been better for a face to face with Hulk. I guess SSC was more focused on the Wolverine/Sabretooth stand off. It's a pity, since they've done that before, and, it's pretty predictable. But, it was likely what most fans expected, so, it's understandable.

But next to Cap even, Wolvie looks short. Sideshow seems to have accurately made him the 5 foot nothing "shrimp" that he is in the comics, as opposed to the 6 foot plus Jackman from the movies. The fact that he is lunging makes him appear even shorter, but again, it is comic-accurate.

Yep, he's supposed to be a short, stocky dude with a low center of gravity. Sideshow did the PF perfectly.

Got my replacement head! :rock

but trying to destroy the old head was a bit tricky :lol

Cool - I'll probably be doing the same when mine shows up tomorrow.

Time to do the cinder-block drop on this bad boy like I had to do with my Iron Man :lol
