This may piss a lot of people off, but I am willing to bet that the Brown release will have remolded hands/claws and repainted with the tattoos to resemble Dark Wolverine-

Just a thought........ I kind of hope so, cause he would look great next to the eventual Iron Patriot Comiquette.

Ha? but that would be a Draken, not Wolvie.

The brown has been denied by SSC because of the bad sales with the first Wolverine PF, they have said as of now there are no plans to make the brown version.

I believe it all to be rumor to be honest.

What about the possibility of brown wolvie? I know there's been rumors.

Here's the info from Ask Sideshow:

Q. Will the brown costume Wolverine Premium Format come with an exclusive unmasked switch out head sculpt, and what are the chances of seeing another variant – the X-Force costume?
A. Brown costume Wolverine PF – the fate is uncertain, currently MIA from our release schedule at the moment, but we’ll figure out his spot soon enough. Details TBD!

Conflicting info here:

From February:

They are exploring the option of a brown Wolvie PF, and at the same time "Brown suit Wolverine should make an appearance in 2010" (in context of talking about PF, but perhaps referencing something else?).

From August:

"fate is uncertain" but "we'll figure out his spot soon enough"

In other words, Sideshow really isn't saying anything with their responses IMO.

From what I can see yellow Wolvie is sold out. And has been.

Still seems too tall for me, especially paired up with Gambit. Picture Wolvie standing straight up as tall as he can...Too close to Gambit's height if you ask me. I want an effin' midget. :lol

I really want the brown Wolverine made but I'd rather see other X-Men members first. In fact, I am sure that's what will happen.

If this Wolvie were standing straight up, he would still be in scale with the other statues shown previously. Consider the height of their respective bases. He wouldn't literally be a 3 foot tall midget in relation to the others, but close to 5 feet (in relation to, say a 6 foot-ish Cap and Iron Man), as he should be.

I think Wolvie fans have long adjusted to the idea that he is no longer the shrimp he used to be... lol. He's grown a few inches and is probably drawn as someone of average height for a while now. That's fine with me. Did Hugh Jackman's height really offend anyone?

Has he changed in the comics? I assumed he was still roughly 5 feet tall. The Jackman height did bother me slightly, since that is part of what makes Wolvie who he is, but he did such a great job that I'm able to look past it.

I'm pretty sure that Wolverine's height has always been listed as 5 feet 3 inches. That was the official report as of the release of the first X-Men film.

When Wolverine first came out, he looked normal height. Around the haydays in the 80's, Frank Miller had him at around 5'6". Now days Marvel stats usually have him at 5'3". Personally, I don't mind him being 5'7" or shorter, as long as he's noticeably shorter than other characters.
