I remember the first time I watched that unspoiled and saying to myself....holy crap was this for real...just blown away by it and still am.

HBO Spawn was pretty much the perfect gritty cartoon. It helps that it didn't pull from all the crazy Heaven/Hell plots but was rahter down to Earth. Beautiful cinematography, a chilling atmosphere, cold deliveries, it had everything.

I need to rewatch Spawn, I think I still have the VHS collection laying around in my parents house

Everything DC animated did before JL War is fantastic, mosy stuff past that is even worse than average anime.

Last good thing they did was Gods and monsters.

Yeah, everything "Nu52" related has been weak. But Gods & Monsters was a pleasant surprise. Although after Flinch, I can't see Bruce Timm the same again...

Going back to Wonder Boredom.

Steve Trevor was even a better Superman than Snyder Superman.

He possessed a solid core but was also a frustrated realist who tried his best to work around the red tape barriers that were manufactured by those in power.

But he was not enough to save this movie for me.

I did laugh when WW was looking at him naked and she said something to the effect of "Do you always let that little thing tell you what to do?"

She was referring to his watch but I lol at the implied meaning lol.

Kim Kardashian would laugh at him naked.

Even with his hand cupping it, YES IN A SUPERHERO MOVIE THERE IS A FULL FRONTAL CUPPING **** SHOT, they cgi it perfectly removed.

He literally was dickless!

Not that I care, but I think it's still a little too early to reveal scenes of the movie without the spoiler tags ..many people coming on this specific thread still haven't watched it yet.
