Everything TFA did wrong, WW did right. The setting, the realism, the boots on the ground/grittyness of it, all that was sorely missing from TFA IMO. Plus, WW moved at broke neck speeds, CA:TFA is a slow, boring burn. At least to me. :lol

MCU total box office sits at 11.7 billion, latest movie on track to hit 1 billion, I agree what a massive failure and decline they should shut it down before they implode.

Now that is very cool. :duff

You said it man. :duff

I see no reason for either WW or Cap:TFA to be blasted in favor of the other. Some things WW does better, other things TFA does better. Obviously TFA came at a time when the studio wasn't throwing massive budgets at superhero films and $1 billion earnings weren't even on their radar. And WW clearly wore its TFA influences on its sleeve.

My favorite scenes were definitely No Man's Land/Veld and
Diana and Steve's final goodbye and her reaction to his death.

I was surprised at how well done everything on Paradise Island was though. The Amazons in action were a sight to behold.

Agreed, it comes down to different strokes for different folks, I can definitely see why people enjoy TFA, but it just wasn't for me. :lol

I think it's funny how word around the web for folk who haven't seen it say it's feminist/sjw propaganda at it's finest, when in reality this film barely had much of a political agenda at all, or at least one that wasn't forced to the exaggerated extent it's being made out to.

A lot of it focused on the human race's view of war and why it's necessary and or not necessary at times. I also loved how much respect it gave to those bad-ass ****ing dudes who served in WW1.

Yep the movie was well done and I really liked it. The only movie in recent comic movies I haven't really liked at all was suicide squad. Just didn't click for me at all. All others I have found something to enjoy in them

WW is the best kind of "girl power" movie if you want to call it that because it doesn't present women as being in competition with (or worse, superior to) men. Obviously it showcases a divide between mortals and angelic type beings but that's just the fantasy aspect of the film and nothing political.

The historically accurate sexism Diana faced when interacting with British command and soldiers was mostly played for fish out of water laughs and not as scathing social commentary. Otherwise she was simply another "hero" like Steve Rogers or Clark Kent who just happened to be female. Highest kudos to Patty Jenkins, the writers, and WB for not stooping to grab the low hanging fruit of SJW policital correctness.

That's what was really cool about that scene, IMO. :D

You have feminism reviews to thank for that...
They are putting their own bias and own spin that doesnt exist in the movie to their own reviews.
Going as far as saying this is the best anti trump movie to reach us....... when the movie was completed before he ever won.
