Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

I think you guys love to forget that when it comes to things like this, Sideshow will use the art as a basis and then add their own proportions and tweaks and such. It's not going to come out exactly the same. They will make her fit in style with Superman and Batman of course.

Whatever they end up going with, I think I'll probably end up disappointed. Sex sells so I'm sure it'll get most people, but I have high hopes they try to do something more with a character that never gets a chance to actually shine in any meaningful way.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

Why did the thread title get changed to late 2013? Is she already confirmed to be released before then? I'm so confused.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

Ms Marvel PF had the most boring pose ever. It looked like a very large action figure with no joints. And way too skinny.

BB

Yeah, that's why she's such a grail these days.:lol Anyway, night all. I personally would like to see WW strong, toned, but at the same time stunningly beautiful and sexy. I'm all for the cape if it's removable of course. Yes, this is just a statue, but if there is any statue that SS should create to be the best female PF they've done yet, it's WW. :peace Goodnight everyone.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

Wow! That low of a chance for a low catwoman and WW ES huh? so Theres no chance at all. :monkey1:monkey1:monkey1

Listen Dude I KNOW you want a low ES on every piece that comes your way. Hell the whole board knows that. However, those days are gone for really HUGE releases like WW. With an ES of 2500 and a price tag of $400 SSC is making $1000 000 on just the Superman Ex... Or $630 000 for Harley. Even at say a price tag of $400 they would have made what, $120 000 on an ES the size of say the Grey Hulk PF or the Doom PF.

There are more collectors, as SSC is getting their piece of the pie FIRST before the aftermarket price hounds do. What do you want them to do sacrifice more then HALF A MILLION DOLLARS of profit just to make YOU happy. Remember they are a business, and they have employees, overhead, and a million other expensses that they have to cover, and pieces like Superman,Harley, Ivy, Joker, and Batman make that easier for them. These pieces help fund the ones you love like SpiderWoman.

CBG, honestly, I think you need to stop lamenting some of this stuff (low ES, your replacement issues) otherwise you are going to make yourself, and some of us:wink1:, miserable. That or maybe just call it a hobby...god knows you have enough amazing pieces.:dunno

If exclusivity is part of the reason CBG is in the hobby, I say lament away. He is part of the customer's voice that keep SSC in check. But that voice must be excercised not only here in the forums, but with your wallet in your buying decisions. The market is saturated with other companies. SSC is saturating many of the lines with the many different versions of each character. Now, each line is saturated with high ES. It is possibly why Superman ES is lower than Batman ES because they are adjusting to consumer demand, like CGB, who value a low ES.

If everyone is as understanding as you, Spidey, SSC will go the way of Bowen. :wink1:
