Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013
Actually if you think about this the Superman Regular ES is lower than the Batman Regular ES but the Exclusive Numbers are Flip flopped. Why? Because the regulars are ordered at a wholesale level. Batman is always ordered by retailers more so than Superman. They needed to meet wholesale demand with the regular numbers and Batman usually sells twice to a retail market what superman does.
On the Exclusive level though, they perhaps though that the Superman change of head would be more sought after than the Batman Batarang...well maybe they jumped the gun on that. Either way both EX editions sold out so it's win/win for them.
If exclusivity is part of the reason CBG is in the hobby, I say lament away. He is part of the customer's voice that keep SSC in check. But that voice must be excercised not only here in the forums, but with your wallet in your buying decisions. The market is saturated with other companies. SSC is saturating many of the lines with the many different versions of each character. Now, each line is saturated with high ES. It is possibly why Superman ES is lower than Batman ES because they are adjusting to consumer demand, like CGB, who value a low ES.
If everyone is as understanding as you, Spidey, SSC will go the way of Bowen.
