It's not the same statue. When I sell mine I will get more for my EX than a reg. Quit lumping them together MM. every thread you enter you spew the same crap about ES and proceed to lump releases together. I don't get it.

King, whatever makes you feel better. Don't get your blood pressure up about it. Yeah you may get more money for your EX somewhat but not at these kind of numbers. None of the 9500 high ES stuff from LOTR ever increased in value remotely. In fact they sell well under retail sadly. Check ebay. To me, it's not about the money anyway. My point is that I wish they would keep these statues more collectible and rare and do different versions of the same character in a lower ES. These aren't toys. I'm sorry but TO ME, it's still the same statue Ex or Reg. We can agree to disagree. Now... back to our regularly scheduled Wonder Woman.

I have a feeling they will knock her out of the park. In terms of ES, make no mistake, many people on this board have been blabbing for the last year TRINITY TRINITY TRINITY! I have read far to often "all im waiting for is WW to complete then TRINITY, then I'm done."

Im sure the ES will be much higher than any of us want it and we did it to ourselves. Flash or Aquaman will be a different story.

Youre probably right Oh well... buy her if you guys want. Please don't get riled up over ES peeps. She's a beautiful sculpt. I will wait. You guys don't pay import fees and I do which adds to my concern always.

Harley ex es is 1750. No way the ex es for this will be lower. As for the Batman pf selling out just look at Deadpool. The reg sold out pretty quickly after release. With Batman's popularity I could see it selling out by years end.

I don't think we get riled up about it. I never mention it really. You mention it all the time. I think she is an amazing sculpt. I understand your concerns about quality especially when you are dealing with the fees you have to pay.

Thanks Yeah I just had a QC issue with Baroness Crimson. Anyway, I look forward to the Wonder Woman full reveal. They could not have done a better job on her. She's amazing really.

No harm in waiting. The import fees really change the game for you but SS has been pushing all the limits of veterans lately with higher and higher price tags and large ES

Just don't forget how flooded and oversaturated the Batman market already is. Many Batman fans already have a variety of batman figures. I know several with extensive black and white collections who don't plan to go anywhere near this. Although mostly for budget reasons.

Those statues are less than 10 inches tall. I rather have this pf than 5 of those.

That's my sentiment. I could imagine how many people SS gets hooked at SDCC when people who are used to collecting figs at or under 12 and see these in the display cases in all their glory. It would be a game changer.

Just saw the preview video. Looks fantastic. I'll have to pre-order this one to go with Bats and Supes.

As for the edition sizes, it is a function of pre-order levels, just like almost everything else SSC does nowadays. And the size is relative. 10K for Batman is equivalent to 2K for a lesser character. Absolute edition size is meaningless, because its availability only makes sense in relation to demand.

^^ There is way too many Batman PF Reg made. It should had been 5000 at best (same as Superman). It will take ssc a long time to sell out on it. The fact they made almost 10,000 is astounding and quite frankly too much.

It's just too much of a ridiculous ES, and I am only speaking for myself, but I cancelled when I saw those numbers. Oh well, Sideshow got my NRD at least.

Yes everything always sells out in time. But the massive ES will kill the fun in collecting with statues going for less then what retail is. Also it won't be anything rare which makes collecting fun at least for us who likes rarer collectibles instead of walmart collectible ES items.

I completely agree with you. Sideshow is getting a little ridiculous with their edition sizes. I've passed on quite a few statues because of it. It takes all the fun out of it when a statue is so easy to acquire.

Yeah I agree. There is literally no point in this hobby if other people can enjoy it too. I don't even display what I collect since what they look like doesn't matter! All I do is go for the low ES stuff! So long as I have it and others don't, I'm happy!
