Oh, I care what they look like, and that's one of my biggest problems with the over produced statues. The larger the es the larger the qc issues.

I completely agree with you. Sideshow is getting a little ridiculous with their edition sizes. I've passed on quite a few statues because of it. It takes all the fun out of it when a statue is so easy to acquire.

Agree, Lately Ive been hunting down older statues and once I get it Im so thrilled and brings back that fun passion:rotfl

The face looks kinda manly to me.

It did as well for me in that tiny teaser pic. But after seeing the full pic. In my opinion SS knock this one out! It was so well done to match this character. The face was the most important part for this statue which was a huge fail or a huge success. I believe it was a huge success for me and many here. She looks amazing! But this is in no way to say others must like it. We all have our own opinions which is perfectly fine. I'm still in awe at how SS and the sculpter pull this off so well. Congrats SS and the new superstar sculpter! :clap

You just nailed it. Really hoping they start doing different style PFs of the same character with lower ES. They would sell like hotcakes. Imagine if they had done a blue and grey and yellow bats and the grey and black at lower ES. Both would have sold out by now. Anyhoo, Wonder Woman looks amazing. We shall see what Sidehow does Es-wise, I just hope they paint her at the best factory. She's a perfect sculpt.

The larger ES does bother me a tiny bit. But, I stick to the heavy hitters as it is so not that much. They still tend to sell out for main characters and as long as the piece shows up without flaws, I will be a happy camper.

Can you actually provide proof of this? QC issues are far from a recent construct.

It's just common sense. How many quality painting do you think they have working on these statues? Their better painters can only paint so many statues at once, so they have to hire other less experienced people just to get the job done. The proof is in the increasingly worse tasting pudding. When Sideshow first started I didn't receive any statues with QC issues, and over the last few years I've had quite a few. I shouldn't say it's the edition size, but more the overall production of too many statues all at once, and not enough decent painters to give them the paint apps that we deserve.

That actually makes a lot of sense and I never thought of that. Scarlet Witch turned out beautiful as did Storm PF (both lower ES). Ohhhh GAWD I hope WW isn't another paint disaster. How many talented painters can their be? Sideshow really needs to stop with the crazy ES overkill and get back to quality paint jobs they are capable of. Some Ivy PFs looked great and others looked terrible and only until now did I understand your theory as to why. Even good painters will get tired after working all day like we all do. :slap A beautiful sculpt like Wonder Woman needs a beautiful paint job as well.

:exactly: You said it my friend. It'd be a shame to see this sculpt go to waste.:(
