The point is there are 2000+ of these out there. They are not rare. You'll always be able to find one even if you have to pay more money for it. The whole "grail" thing makes me laugh when you guys use it for such a mass produced item. But good luck...:rotfl

I know what your point is. The fact of the matter however is the term grail is not strictly limited to that which is rare in numbers. :lecture To some this Batman PF for example could be the "grail" of their collection. It's just simply based on personal views. Hence the turd reference.

I guess some people just have different taste. I think the Punisher was poorly done in comparison to the Batman PF. The Punisher definitely should have been fully sculpted because he's got the whole pajama look going for him. They could have done something better with the base and with that flate looking street-sweeper they gave him. When it comes to detail Batman has the Punisher beat by a mile.

I own both pieces and I disagree. Not to say I like one over the other. They're both good but they both have their flaws as well.

Yeah, we could consider them the 3 most important/core members. However, to my knowledge, Marvel never really labeled those 3 as a group nor marketed them as such. They are a part of the Avengers. Plain and simple. DC purposely marketed Bats, Supes, and WW separately as the Trinity and they are featured as such on numerous occasions in comics and advertisements. That is why the word Trinity is emblazoned on the SSC promo pics of the 3 together. That is why we received emails from SSC that said "complete the Trinity". When they are being marketed as a group (Trinity), we will not see other members of the JLA included. Now after we see a few more JL PFs released, we'll probably start seeing some group shots. At least from forum members and possibly from SSC as well.

Someone else pointed this out previously, but GL is sold out. Maybe they are focusing on the ones they still need to sell for the time being?

I'm sure he's awesome in person. I have actually been thinking about picking up a regular. I just think they got a little lazy with the base and the gun. They should have given him a street base with blood, bullets, and cash scattered all over it. Maybe throw in the Kingpin's cane and a newspaper with articles discussing the mystrious man going aroud killing all the criminals. Maybe have an article about Jigsaw and Daredevil as well. Just a few little things like that.

That's entirely possible as far as SSC is concerned. However, DC labeled those 3 the Trinity far before SSC ever got around to it. Also, I think SSC always intended to push these 3 pieces as the Trinity. The bases alone put those 3 characters on equal footing. SSC said those 3 will be on one tier with following members all being on smaller bases. This sounds like SSC purposely intended to market the Trinity together from the beginning.

Yes, I think you're right. They look great in the photoshopped pics...the challenge is how to get all three massive pieces together on my shelves?
