M.C.D. I think in your case it's just a matter of taste and she doesn't live up to yours. I myself love the paint apps on mine.
It's just Batman and Superman turned out nearly perfect, so I had such high hopes for Wonder Woman. Maybe I should try for a replacement. There're just so many paint bleeds and discolorations in her skin. There's also a glob of paint above her left eye that looks like a wart and a chip on the base. This sucks because I really wanted to collect the whole Justice League.
I would, because honestly mine doesn't have any of that. The most I had was a small over paint of skin color bleeding onto the axe handle, which I took care of and some of the lines on her boots were a little uneven, but nothing crazy.
I'd be all in for that! But I couldn't find a problem except that she does look a bit too much like Cobie Smulders.
Mine arrived yesterday...and I was relieved that there were no issues. I opened the box with the idea that I was going to find something wrong with this PF.
Then it dawned on me...isn't it a shame that the arrival of a new SS PF is accompanied by an attitude of "what I am going to find wrong with this piece"? It's a shame that when purchasing a SS product you spend a portion of your time desperately hoping that you receive an "acceptable" product.
I try not to get that way. As a matter of fact I try to not even look at the first person who posts pictures anymore because more often than not the first person to post is the guy who received something wrong with his statue. As many people here believe that there's a 50/50 shot of getting a good statue, that simply isn't true. More good statues will go out than bad, but the people who get bad ones will always be more vocal than the ones who get good ones.
It's really that simple. So to hell with it, it's only going to effect me when it happens to me and that's the attitude you have to take.
