Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

All good points Mr. N. though I still think she has enough fans to push her up there. Linda Carter, The SuperFriends, the Justice League cartoons. Many guys grew up with Dianna, and even though they might. Or read her stories the same way they might Bats or Supes, many will want her in their collections. I guess we will see how many.

Lynda Carter would be an awesome PF one day after they release the comic version. I would get both. But, keep the price reasonable SS  :lecture and don't oversaturate the market (I said that one for you Spidey.) :wave:rotfl jk

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

If the sculpt looks perfect I can't see Wonder Woman having a lower es than Ivy. The ex will have to be over 1500.

If the sculpt looks perfect it won't be any smaller then Ivy, and let's be honest if it is perfect WW should make all other PF look like ugly step sisters....:rotfl

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

I think we'll see pfs start at $375 before $400 is the new standard price. It seems all the Marvel pfs get released first and then the DC ones. We'll have this in hand August 2014 if it goes up for order at comic con this year.

WW may look more regal, more classic, more imposing than Ivy, but Ivy's come hither allure will not be diminished, much less "ugly" in any sense of the word. :pfft:

Hope you're right, but I don't see how. Supes was at 2012 SDCC and we won't get it officially until Jan 2014, more likely May 2014. Even if WW makes 2013 Con, it will probably take a similar development cycle.

I said if the pre-order is up at comic con like Batman was then we should have her by August like Batman.

If she is like Batman those would be reasonable, if she is like Superman:thud:

I also have to say I am hoping we get a lok at the Flash this SDCC:pray:

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

I just can't get my head around Four Hundred Dollars to "complete a set". It's Four Hundred Dollars! That's a lot of money. Like, a lot!

I can def appreciate the completionist mentality of having the set. I understand. Im the same way on this Spidey comiquette line. But really, does anyone know her that well past a cartoon? I know a few here do. But WW was a character drawn up to attract a female audience to comics. Do ppl here know her story? Her villains? I dunno man. Four Hundred Dollars to "fill a space" and "complete the trinity" seems heavy. She's kind of the She-Ra of DC. I dug the crossovers as kid, but man...

A question to ask yourself would be, if SS got the rights solely to WW and not the other characters, would you buy her stand-alone piece? I know some here would but I hear mostly ppl excited about getting the trinity.

To me, bats will go with his Gotham city villains. supes with his. WW for me would probably stand alone and I'd look at that piece everyday and see another piece I passed over which I really wanted. That's, if the price was four hundred dollars.

To me, I hope she's marked down to a level where I could get my head around it and buy her to complete the trinity. But for he sake of members on here who truly want an epic piece worthy of this line, and authentically want a WW pice, I hope they don't take down the level of quality to make it more affordable.

Count me in for one who knows her character and is excited for her.

I was ORIGINALLY going to be a completionist but that meant me having to suck it up and get Superman. Then I stopped myself realized, I am not a Superman fan. I would only be getting this to complete a set and that is ridiculous. With that being said I will NOT be getting Superman but I will still be getting Wonder Woman.

It's for ppl like you I hope they build a solid piece which I'm sure they will. I'd say you're in the minority seeing Supes as the background piece.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

If this is what we're talking about it won't matter who is a true fan of course...

that is VERY true.... If they build THAT they will come.

I know her from the justice league cartoon. She could fly and beat up superman. She was awesome! As for comics never bought a WW issue. I was never a fan until I saw the cartoon. But I do remember way back the live tv show as a kid. I mean I know I saw it but do remember anything from it anymore. But seeing the WW cartoon movie was very fool! Kerry russel was a perfect voice fior her. :hi5: now she's my favorite character! Wow kind of funny that they made the character to bring in female fans and the book is still alive for so long.
