I just can't get my head around Four Hundred Dollars to "complete a set". It's Four Hundred Dollars! That's a lot of money. Like, a lot!

I can def appreciate the completionist mentality of having the set. I understand. Im the same way on this Spidey comiquette line. But really, does anyone know her that well past a cartoon? I know a few here do. But WW was a character drawn up to attract a female audience to comics. Do ppl here know her story? Her villains? I dunno man. Four Hundred Dollars to "fill a space" and "complete the trinity" seems heavy. She's kind of the She-Ra of DC. I dug the crossovers as kid, but man...

A question to ask yourself would be, if SS got the rights solely to WW and not the other characters, would you buy her stand-alone piece? I know some here would but I hear mostly ppl excited about getting the trinity.

To me, bats will go with his Gotham city villains. supes with his. WW for me would probably stand alone and I'd look at that piece everyday and see another piece I passed over which I really wanted. That's, if the price was four hundred dollars.

To me, I hope she's marked down to a level where I could get my head around it and buy her to complete the trinity. But for he sake of members on here who truly want an epic piece worthy of this line, and authentically want a WW pice, I hope they don't take down the level of quality to make it more affordable.

Great points you have. I think she should be $350. No more price increases for statues that are being made with an overkill ES as it is IMO. I'd love to have her but can't see her being priced at 400 unless the PF is incredible and the Ex comes with something brilliant.

my brother is always agreeing with me! I see this guy is my long lost brother. Yes perfectly said! I hope they do the right price on this.... Would hate to skip my favorite character....

Thanks CBG. Lol we always seem to agree! Here's hoping SS does WW justice (no pun intended lol) and they keep her price and ES reasonable.

And please understand that I'm not stating that WW is not a popular and highly recognized character. Just not sure if she is well embraced by todays average collector/reader demographic.

Unfortunately, the way manufacturers pull in market for female characters is by making them, well, a little over the top sexy. But thats really not what WW is about. So Im curious as to how this will be pulled off.

I hope it is tasteful.

Oh yea, I'm in that same boat...don't care about ES number. Do prefer to have one though. I really hope this thing is not more than in supes or batman. unless they truly botch the design, this a first day PO for me.

A rob liefeld wonder woman would be kind of cool to represent the image bros. Maybe not a capt America cover lol... But at least Rob draws great women! Still funny how back in the days I didn't like DC. Marvel was my favorite until recently with all the animated tv shows and Jim lee going over there. Now WW is my favorite DC character!

Cable would be so awesome by liefeld. I know we must agree on that one right? He is the creator of cable so it should be base on his work.
His women art is really decent and pretty good over all. I admit sometimes on the guys it could get out of hand. Let me google liefeld WW and see if he ever drew her before. If so I will post it here so we can all decide.
