I have been browsing the forums for pics and I have seen a few damaged ones, and this helps confirm that the rods are in the same place! So I will be going forward with both swords...will take awhile before production starts (other projects I need to finish) and want to get a good head start on them before taking orders...to help ease the wait time. Looking forward to doing them as I just got some power tools and accessories to make real metal blades! Hopefully pics can be shown somewhat soon of what it will look like.

Any chance you saw adee's post over at SF of the Photoshop alternate spear pose? Do you think it might be something you can try and tackle along with your sword idea (while making sure that you fix the rag to flow the same way as the hair)?

currently only thing in the works are the swords, down the road i may tackle this but making sticks especially that long really suck, if i can come up with a better idea to make it work it is definitely a possibility.

I apologize if this isn't the right place to post - but I have accepted the fact that this will not fit in my detolf display (I was in denial) - at least by the given dimensions.

Does anyone with it in hand know of an individual case that is big enough for it - and/or would you feel comfortable with this on top of detolfs? I have a wall of detolfs for the rest of the collection, and am not changing the whole thing, so I figured this lady was impressive enough for a display all on her own.

i have had no problems displaying on top of a detolf, and she isnt too heavy.

im interested with the sword that is for the shield hand right?

i will be doing both hands, a big request was to have it in the spear hand because it takes up so much room, so it will rest on her shoulder and will redo the hand,and the shield hand is a nobrainer. i dont have everything worked out yet, it all depends how difficult it is to make the blades.
