The book would've made a better cable series. To condense it into one movie was a fail from the start.

Exactly what I thought. They could have made it in to a Twilight Zone type show where each episode was it's own story. This should never have been made in to a movie.

And the zombie wave looks cool but it has nothing to do with World War Z.

Yup, and it would've worked well even with non-cannonical stories added to extend the series. Should've been a no-brainer to HBO or SHO given the success of TWD. :cuckoo:

I couldn't finish the book; bored me to death...movie gives me little hope, though I like the idea of a zombie swarm like that shown in the trailer

Is this a prequel to I Am Legend? Is Brad Pitt playing Will Smith's character?

:monkey1

Also, the book is great.

It lags in the middle a bit, after the girl talks about her family going up north, eating the human stew, etc., but it picks up again.

I see nothing to like about this trailer, plus as far as I can tell it bears no resemblance at all to the book: massive PASS.

Not a fan of superspeed zombies, it makes even less sense physiologically than slow zombies do. I'll be avoiding this one. Plus usually, when there's massive postproduction problems it means the film is really struggling. I predict this wont do well.

All the cgi zombies make me :lol

Really this looks lame. Mostly because of the uber fast zombies.

Oh yeah... and it's nothing like the book so why the **** even bother getting the rights? They could have just called it "Brad Pitt's Flowing Golden Locks Save the World from the Zombie Apocalypse".
