Been awhile since I read that book, but I don't recall the stuff in that trailer happening. Weren't they slow moving zombies in the book?

Yeah, and I don't remember columns of zombies climbing on top of each other in the book.

Taking a cautious stance on this one.

That looks pretty damn epic. Reminds of I am legend and the last of us. And what an RE movie set in racoon city should be like besides the waves of zombies. Sombody grab a surf board.

Hmmm....piles of CGI zombies

Cautious...indeed.

yeah that tide of Zombies to me looks like a bad CGI mess... Like a Videogame but in a really bad way. They move really weird, like there is no weight to them.

Kinda reminds me of this actually....

:slap

worked for the Matrix....(since Agent Smiths were programs.. I guess I could buy the domino agents)
But unless this movie takes place in a computer or a dream ala Inception, then this looked just awful...

shat, this does not look like the book adaptation at all.

what's next, available in 3 effin D too?

I don't know, I just saw it again twice and they look Awful, they don't even feel like humans, they don't move or run like humans would,
those waves of zombies look ridiculous. Of course the movie might be good maybe since Brat Pitt is in this he usually does good movies, but that looks really bad.

if they were doing a "human/zombie wave" at least keep real.

reminds me of this indian movie bit in youtube. apparently it was a big hit in india.

Yea lol did you see the waves they were making. Lol Im gonna have to see the trailer on thursday but it reminds me of I am Legend which was cool but im pretty sure zombies dont make waves like that. Whats next that form to make mega zombie?:lol

What a waste of a fantastic book. No point calling it World War Z if they are not even going to follow the plot.

The book is basically a series of recollection by survivors of the Zombie attack. The character I assumed brad pitt is playing is the reporter who went around interviewing these survivors.

But the trailer makes it look like he is the centre of the world incident and that sucks to me cause the beauty of the book is the story told from all the different perspective.

Would have worked better as a mini series with a different interview/flashbacks every week.

the pile of zombies actually also reminds me of Mega Smith lol

Lol yup it's sooo odd it's funny. No doubt it's gonna be a hit this summer on transformer level or it can sink in **** like battleship.

The book would've made a better cable series. To condense it into one movie was a fail from the start.

lucky they didn't cram "the walking dead" into one movie.

man, watching that zombie wave again and it fails on so many levels. i'd like to see a zombie wave, but do it right.

are they expecting us to suspend disbelief to idiot level?
