Would you pay $60/$70 for a NECA 19" P1 Predator figure?

I think many many are here pissed off that NECA bring a 18" and destroy every avaiable, inaccurate, and overpriced figure on the market. The price for the most important point "LIKENESS", goes too ; NECA

uh.............its an exact scan of what was used from the film. There is no better defense than that . Than we can go into the quality such as paint apps, the bones, real netting vs. sculpted netting, etc...........i just dont see a debate to be had here, when we are discussing accuracy.

The SS maquette is one of the top 3 Pred collectibles available. The other 2 being the SS P1 bust and the Cinemaquette. Everything else pales in comparison. IMO, of course.

Absolutely incorrect. Here's the thing. As mentioned, the maquette is a scan of the actual Predator from SWS. The shoulder canon is too big, but the backpack is fine. As a matter of fact the backpack is larger on the NECA figure than it is on the maquette (just compared the 2.) Finally, I have a photo of Stan Winston standing next to the maquette in his studio...there simply isn't a better endorsement. So, lets put this to bed and discuss the NECA fig for what it is...a great $15 figure. If they made it in larger scale, I would love to have it. Would it replace my maquette? HAHAHAHAHA!

thats yur opinion, but im not seeing any evidence to support anything that the Neca figure is "more accurate" than the maquette. You have to remember that not every suit in the Predator film has exactly the same paint job, some are darker and others lighter as far as the weathering and spots on the Predator. I'm not seeing a rebuttal here, I hope none of you guys are lawyers. I thought this was supposed to be debate

neca has the color right, a bannana type yellow, ask steve wang,
he painted the actual movie costume also the cannon on the ss was not scanned, they sculpted it themselvesand got it wat too long and big, as far as predator likeness it is movie accurate, because of the scan, it's a great statue, i once owned it, but it's not perfect as neca's won't be 100% perfect either
i love predator , and i collect the one's i love best, as we all should,
we can never have enough predators.

for the price and the great likeness, one cant go wrong with a neca
7,14,19 inch predator 1, kyle put all into the sculpt, because as us he loves predator.
i will be a very proud owner of all p1 and p2 predators sculpted by king tankman, in all scales.
