Well, this is a chance for everyone to get in on the ground floor of Galactus's Heralds. The action Surfer is very much available right now. Terrax and Destroyer are coming. I hope Firelord FS is done at some point soon. This is it. Pass now and cry like a little girl later.

Indeed the Destroyer was, for a brief time, a Herald of Galactus. The story behind that was during Fire Lord's service to Galactus he came to earth and battled Thor & Hercules. Fire Lord was found to be a noble sprite and Thor sought to free him from Galactus' servitude. Thor offered Galactus the Destroyer in exchange for Fire Lord's freedom in which Galactus agreed. Galactus infused a portion of his life force to animate the Destroyer and used it as his herald for a brief time. Months later Loki stole the Destroyer from Galactus to use against Thor. I can say that of all of those who served as Galactus' herald, The Destroyer was the one thing that Galactus never had to impart any of his cosmic power to make it work, it had its own power which was greater than any of his previous heralds.
