Still looks really good to me. The only thing I don't like is ****ing Coldplay or whoever doing the song there. It takes place in the damn '80s! If you want a sad, meloncholy type song, go with something from Echo and the Bunnymen, Throwing Muses, or the Cure, or maybe even the beginning of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight."
On the other hand, Batman V. Superman will have no dramatic depth whatsoever, and people will walk out of the theater feeling dirty and a bit sick at their stomach. Pros and cons, you know.

Nope. The less CGI the better and modern Singer is all about cheap looking CGI backgrounds.
I'll only give him the benefit of a doubt with Quicksilver.
I'll take every action scene in X2 over anything in First Class with the exception of Frankenstein's Monster scene, but the music score is what made that scene so great, not the action.

Also, most of Singer's action is unimaginative. I'll only give him the benefit of a doubt with Quicksilver.
Honestly I would have loved to see Matthew Vaughn do one more. That guy has such a fresh approach. Kingsman was terrific. But one thing about the X-Men franchise is that, after suffering through X3 and Wolverine: Origins, Singer is SO much better that I personally just feel grateful that he's staying on board. Though any movie version of a comic book is going to take liberties here and there, he understands the essence of the source material and does the team justice, and makes great films in the process (as far as comic book movies go).You know, I really liked FIRST CLASS a lot and it's kind of a bummer where this series went after that after Singer took it over again. I mean, DoFP was pretty good, but I wanted at least 1 more movie like FIRST CLASS.
The biggest bummer of all was that they canceled the MAGNETO ORIGINS movie. I absolutely would watch 2 hours of Fassbender Magneto hunting down Nazi war criminals ala 007. That scene in FIRST CLASS is probably the best scene from any X-Men film.
