Oh ok I mean, Magneto had the power to destroy the whole planet, which is more than most of the MCU villains are capable of so far, so I thought you meant that the Russo bros might not want to go full CGI fest and bombastic and keep it more grounded.

I'm looking forward to the IW spectacle but I'm pretty certain that the Russos' tenure with the MCU will peak with TWS/CW. I have a feeling that IW will feature too many moving parts to be fully satisfying as a dramatic narrative. We'll see.

Yep. No need for him to be CG. At all. Especially with a powerhouse like Brolin playing him. Hopefully while the Avengers heroically beat him back he makes lots of outtakes to the audience to exclaim, "You are FAILING!" Agreed?

Almost every movie he's in I get distracted by Brolin's dwarf arms and giant head.

Those eyes is what really makes that human in make up Thanos scary. Evil eyes and no eyebrows unlike CGI Brolin

Well, I'd go the Vader route - with Brolin voicing him and Damion Poitier (the 6'5" actor above who played him in 2012's The Avengers) as the face/body.

He was actually in Civil War getting beat up by Capt or Black Widow in Wakanda.

It's hard to imagine that IW will be one film and one story and Avengers 4 will be another story.

The best, cheapest and most effective way would be what everyone at this point has suggested, to just kill an Avenger like swatting a fly from the get-go, on first contact.

Break some hearts, make the audience hate him and fear him.

That's it, instant success.

This needs to happen or else face complete humiliation.

Problem is between the infinity stones, convergence holes and Dr. Strange powers no matter how shocking the death it will all be brought back to normal during the post credits scene lol.

Just way too much room for trickery exists with all these reality and time powers floating around.
