Hey,I’m stoked ! And I’m stoked new mutants is confirmed to come to the theaters. Hell we have I think 11 fox X-men Movies , with only 3 actually being bad. The rest are above 70% on rotten tomatoes (not two mention Logan being one of the best in the genre). So, to hell with the haters! Sure, eventually all X-men will turn into thin mcu background people. Probably played by Oscar caliber actors given absolutely nothing to do. And sure the fox X-men suits aren’t great, but maybe the weird delusion that mcu costumes are accurate will actually come true by the time they the X-men are merged. So that could be a plus. But good luck replacing sir Ian, Stewart , and jackman. I’ll be there opening night with absolutely no cynicism.

People here have indeed become very harsh on the Fox-Men now

I think they deserve some benefit of the doubt given the quality of X1/X2/First Class/DOFP/Logan. But admittedly I'm not sure they'll bounce back from the snoozefest of Apocalypse by delivering more of the same - which it looks like they're doing. The trailer has all the familiar beats.

Too many biased Marvel fans against this franchise now, I'll form my own opinion on the film.

I was never a big fan of the xmen reboot anyway. Loved the original cast back in the early 2000's but did enjoy DofP because it connected both eras.

MCU will have to think hard about how they write the xmen into their universe and who they cast. Xmen comic fans are so picky.

MCU will do it better

Oh that's right press junket diversity how could I forget.

:lol :lol :lol

ROTFL!

Let’s not forget Carl Manvers was the seventh person to be called Captain Marvel and Brie with all her virtue signaling still stole the role from a black woman since Monica Rambeau was the second person and first female and black person to wear the moniker.

If Marvel studios really cared about diversity they had the perfect opportunity to revive Monica and make her relevant. Especially since she actually led the Avengers in the 80’s and Manvers wasn’t even a member till much later.

But for now I digress. I am looking forward to seeing this final FoxMen and excited to see what MCU has in store for them and F4.

Nah not biased just took the nostalgia glasses off. Those movies were good wolverine movies but horrible xmen movies. Even everyone’s favorite days of future past was just wolverine and mystique the movie. The xmen are a team not centered around one dude. Wolverine is awesome but so are the other X-Men. We barely see there full potential. Mcu xmen will hopefully make them more of a team and not just focus of 4 people.

Totally disagree most were great movies about the same Ideologies the books have always been about. The themes and movies hold up extremely well, especially when comparing them to the slew of extremely repetitive movies we’ve been seeing. I’m grateful they exist, they are part of the reason I’m even here on this board. As for the mcu taking them over , greatness is neither guaranteed or off limits. And this is based on the mcu and how it stands now.

I really hope when Disney takes over this trash fire that get rid of most of the cast. There's no diversity within them besides Storm and she's never a focal point.

I’m sure that won’t be a problem. But will it be a problem for the captain marvel and the last Jedi haters ? Probably , but who cares !

Yea I just couldn’t see it. Each movie centered around wolverine, mystique, magneto or prof x. Just wasn’t a team based movie imo. But hey. Not to mention the horrid timeline and making xmen fight each other all the time

Yeah I get that. The core to me is the magneto Xavier dynamic. But every damn movie is the teams fighting except justice league. Have you seen the avengers movies ? Lol

That’s why they are successful tho. They did a great job in making a team based movie that didn’t center around one guy. Those movies could of easily been all iron man sequels.

I'd say smart move on delaying X-Men for several years. Take the time to properly build up an introduce them into the MCU rather than rush it like those other guys (DCEU).

Plus, let some time pass for fans anticipation to rise. Let those that actually liked the Fox Xverse get over it's demise and be willing to move on, and let those that didn't like the Fox Xverse build up some excitement for a proper X-Men franchise.

Interesting. Obviously they just plugged Spidey right into the MCU as soon as they got the rights but that'd be just like them to take their time introducing the X-Men. It really does make sense so that the Fox Singerverse has some time to fade first.

It's a bit different with Spider-Man because Marvel did not get the rights to use the character...those were retained by Sony with all of the revenue from the eventual Spider-Man movie (Homecoming) going to Sony the rights holder. This was a specific partnership that Sony entered into to allow Spider-Man free entry into the MCU in exchange for Feige and the MCU producing a Spider-Man movie for them. There would be no incentive for Sony to allow Disney to sit on Spider-Man until the time was right when Sony could churn out an Amazing Spider-Man 3 and make some money with the character in the interim. Disney / Marvel did not have the option of waiting to introduce Spidey based upon the nature of the arrangement with Sony. Disney actually owns the rights for X-Men now so they are fully in the driver's seat there.

:lol :lol

Hopefully it’s good.

Part of me still thinks that Disney might just use this cast minus JL/HJ of course.

Or........

I’m snorting cocaine cut with gasoline lol
