But forget the silly cinemascore this movie is going to open 12-17 million LESS than the already disastrous Godzilla opening of 47 million, big ouch!

Spielberg and Lucas warned the industry to get ready for multiple big budget failures all within weeks apart of each other and here we are.

While I doubt that Spiderman FFH and LK will bomb Toy Story 4, MIB and Hobbs and Shaw ain’t guaranteed yet.

Hellboy seems to be the biggest disaster since DP was going to be the end of the franchise no matter what and GvK is already in production.

But wasn't HB supposed to kick off a whole new series?

Hellboy lost the studio around 30-50 million.

I think Godzilla is going to lose the studio the most money with XM somewhere in the middle.

Wut? They're not mutants or humans. Some on that space ship and some infiltrated the govt right? You nerdie probably have a techinical name.

The aliens were a very weird choice.

They were the species that Jean eradicated in the comic who only appeared in like one page.

It was like they wanted to include the space opera elements from the comics, but did so in the most half-assed manner possible.

Well they knew they only had 1 movie to tell it so why bother

Last Stand offered no explanation.

DP offered a half assed cliched explanation that was only as deep as a 2 hour movie would allow it to be.

I always hated Jean and the Phoenix. She's a lame character. I'm glad the phoenix story failed again. No need for the MCU do it either.

However, it'll be tough to find a better cast than the Fox Men.

I think his last 10 movies outside of the XM franchise have bombed.

I'll be honest. I felt like Jackman, Stewart and McKellen carried most of the films. Macavoy and Fassbender were good and Turner did the best with the writing she had here, but I don't think they're irreplaceable. Everyone else, it's pretty much open season, especially here where the writers couldn't be bothered to do anything with a good chunk of the cast.
