The costumes suck in this. Bishop and Blink are about the only ones I like.
Every sci-fi/fantasy film Singer directs has crappy costumes in it, X-Men, X2, Superman, Jack the Giant Slayer, and now this. :ohbfrank:

I really hope Hot Toys doesn't cancel the First Class figures to make stuff from this.

I think Storms suit looked pretty good.

Xaviers and wolverines look badass too.

Please, please, please be awesome.

And please can we have Fassbender in the Magneto suit and helmet.

^ This is looking like his costume, especially with the big purple collar.

And here's his Helmet

From X2 It was okay, but I'm not liking the short sleeved one in this. They'd win me over if they gave her the Mohawk. I also love Mystique's look for obvious reasons. Beast looks good, he's never really been associated with a strong costume, he's all makeup. I still prefer how he looked First Class.
Wolverine looks very odd to me, too much armor for my liking.

Trailer doesn't do too much for me, sadly. I think we were spoiled by the awesome Cap trailer recently, though. I agree with Kamandi about the suits. But then, this franchise has always failed in trying to find some middle ground between the comics and "gritty and realistic" attire IMO.

I guess the guy with face paint was either Warpath or Thunderbird.

They just need to give up on " gritty and realistic" and embrace comicbook weirdness.

I'd say use a material like Avengers suit Cap, and go full on 90's X-men costumes for insiration.

I would say go with late '70s designs instead, but I agree with you. Either that, or just do civvie clothes like they did for much of First Class. Either works. Trying to straddle the line has failed IMO, whether its the stupid leather outfits from X1 or whether it's what we see here.

A reworking of Jim Lee's Uncanny X-Men costume would work for me, which is probably why I like the suits from First Class so much.
