It was... ok? Definitely not terrible, but not Excellent either.
Better than Origins, Better than XM3.

I'd say it was "good enough" but could have been better.

X2 did have fantastic action. but so did X3, and most of the Fat and the furriest movies as well.

X2 worked as a movie... X3 ( and most of the Racing schlock FAF) didn't imo.

Great action scense are only part of the equation.

Wish Michael Bay would understand that too, while i'm on the subject....

This new movie is so bloated with characters and stars that by the time Singer gives every one their "moment" their won't be any time left for a proper fight sequence. Perhaps a perfunctory scene at best.

I thought the trailer was awesome. I don’t need to see the action. I care more about the characters and their performances, and this seems to be giving me exactly what I was hoping for.

That Nightcrawler scene was the highlite of that movie which is sad for the franchise and Singer.

Which in Furry culture, evolved into Yiff. But that's for another day.
