That sounds great.

I like the fact that Dog is slain and Cat seems to be apprehended. :lol :lol

I wonder how that's working out for them...

Anyway, back on topic... Yeah... at least I can save my money for HT Marvel comic figures that DO look awesome. And HT actually makes those. No wonder they won't touch the X-Men license with designs like that. I hope they didn't already pay money for the license, otherwise we'll see another ****load of Iron Men to make up for that loss.

This Sentinel is a Mark 10. The one on the first cover is a Mark 2.

I like the design. It looks very threatening.

Also looks very different from most of the giant robots making appearances in films these days.

I've not defended anything, just posted them and not hated

I don't think anyone who has posted in this thread has been pleased with all of the costume designs - even Nova.

Though I think "Brotherhood" is a great term to describe a certain group of people who continuously trash-talk a movie they already know they won't like.
I wasn't trying to be spiteful fellas.

I'm just a well intended smartarse. :lol :duff

That's Master Mold, it's even in the link description. Did he have that metal plate setup in the comic?

"As for the design of this future Sentinel, inside the magazine we have an interview with production designer John Myhre who explains their look. Here's a little of what he had to say. "They're biomechanical weapons. We had to come up with what would be the ultimate version that could actually, in principle, stop the X-Men. We started with this idea that they were almost made up of magnetic plates slapped over one another, imagining that the plates could contract or grow, so the Sentinel can be skinny to get through a small space or the plates can open up to become a bigger shape. So they have become virtually unstoppable.""

After reading that, it kinda grew on me a little. It does look threatening, I just hate it doesn't have that classic purple color. If these things can shrink down to human size to chase Mutants through buildings that would be pretty cool considering there is no where to hide from them.

This thread is hilarious, I love how people will rip a movie apart before they even see it! :lol :rotfl:lol :lol

Did you not see Quicksilver? :rotfl

I think the movie will be fine... but those design choices...

Only thing wrong with QS is his hair style looks strange. Everything else fits perfectly fine for a teenager in the 70’s.

silly as it sounds, that future sentinel could work better off as another mutant from that design and back story. all they have to do is drop the "ROBOT" bit.
