Yeah, nothing wrong with it, really (and like most here I like McAvoy as Professor X), and he looks fine. However, it doesn't do anything to amp up the excitement and I think that is what people are complaining about. At this point, anyone predisposed to like X-Men should really be at a fever pitch in anticipation of the movie, but at least for me I couldn't care less. I think it was jye that said he felt there was more to be excited about visually in a 2 second clip of Rocket Raccoon than in everything we've seen so far for DoFP and I'm in the same camp. Depending on reviews this might be something I wait to VOD.

That makes sense, but lets be honest, a talking raccoon and tree is hard to top no matter what.

Nothing is"wrong" with it. Nothing is right with it either. Its just there. Like the color grey :lol

Exactly my point. We've seen them already numerous times, why waste anymore promo shots on Prof. X/Magneto in yearbook photos? We get it, they're the leaders we need but why not release a movie poster version of the comic-DOTFP cover to really get people excited.

I remember all the comments about people hating Cap's costume in TFA and then they released that one movie poster of him looking down with his shield and you can tell people started to warm up to him and the movie since you felt Marvel was trying to stay true to his comics.

Yeah, The Empire covers…even though I'm not liking a majority of the designs, were something exciting. They were interesting to look at. These yearbook photos are just dull. They don't offer anything except who's playing who :lol

I'm not yet convinced that Marvel needs Spiderman back, SONY is at least trying.

But X-Men can't go back to Marvel fast enough.

Screw it, Spiderman too. :lol

But Amazing Spiderman was underwhelming, while First Class exceeded expectations. Both of the sequels look good this year, but DOFP looks like it will undoubtedly be better.

First Class was the best superhero movie of 2011, same year two other Marvel movies released. I don’t see why Marvel needs the fights back.

It almost seems like Singer is attempting to make 'art' films, over comic inspired films - going off his selection of released images so far.

He might as well make the film black & white while he's at it, & get Logan to narrate the whole thing noir style. :lol
