Super Freak
It should make sense within the narrative.
Magneto infusing Wolverine's bones with molten adamantium doesn't make sense.

Singer said:Evan Peters -- he was in the script forever. The reason he was announced so late is that I didn’t want to announce the character until I had an actor. It took me so long to figure that out.
Continuity errors aren't as big as people like to think. In all there's maybe two or three major ones, Xavier walking in X3 being the biggest. This movie seems to be addressing that.
McCoy apparently uses a serum to repress his Beast look as he's ashamed of it. Flows well from where his character was in First Class.

We don’t know even if that happens. Boy, are you reaching today.
But they show logan with his metal again how else can it happen?
On May 23rd I’m going to wake up, take a shower, brush my teeth, pick up my friends, purchase a movie ticket, sit down and watch the movie so I can find out.

And slowly cry, realizing as the movie progresses, you'll be treating me to GotG this fall.
Its time travel it doesn't need to make sense.if your really looking for things to make sense your watching the wrong franchise so many continuity errors from x1 all the way to this.

Exactly, this isn't a bunch of cosplayers putting a play on for their local civic players, this is a theatrical release thats supposed to tell the ongoing story. I expect there to be a storyline that plays out and reasons why everything happens, if not, why even have the airport scene in The Wolverine. I think Singer has something to prove, while I may not agree with every choice he makes, I just can't see him standing around trollfacing the production like he doesn't give a **** if anything makes sense, which seems to be what some people think hes doing.
It constitutes more than just a small "continuity" error. OMG time travel, OMG comics, LOL.
Sorry, I could never go into a movie with such an utterly idiotic thought process expecting such major inconsistencies because a "comic said so" and the franchise"has had inconsistencies". Its one thing if they can't trace an exact straight line back through half a dozen movies over the past 12 years in the hands of a multitide of directors, but in back to back movies? Sorry, I'll continue to wonder how he got his legs back, you feel free to enjoy your Derp derp stance of "it happened in the comics" and I'll agree to disagree with you. My guess is that you were actually being a little tongue in cheek originally, as you usually have decent thoughts to add to subjects, but sometimes its hard to tell what approach someone was going for on a message board. Sorry if I somehow misinterpreted your messages.

I just want this to come out...decent. Lets face it, theres a curse, whether, you wanna put the blame on the director, the companies making the flicks, whoever. But Nolan, Raimi, and now Singer is going to join the three superhero club. And opinions vary, but in general of the first two flicks, people think one is great, one is pretty good, and then the third is generally a ****bomb, to a large amount of people. I'd like to see him break the curse.
Do I agree with everyhting he does like hes a comic to screen god? No
But I do think he is a competent director, I would not think he would just fumble the ball so bad that this would feel like a soft reboot from the franchise, which is basically what it would be if Xavier were just magically walking again and Wolverine just magically had metal claws again with zero explanations, etc.. etc..
I just honestly think if this were the case we would have heard something on it by now being a soft reboot and things from the past flicks only being marginally accepted at best, which, lets face it, between X-3 and Origins, may have been the way he could have easily gone.
And thats what I was wondering if you were getting at or if I were misunderstanding your earlier post. Sometimes its hard to tell what the intent is, but I think you know, I'd be doing backflips if this went back to marvel tomorrow for an enema and a reboot, lol. that being said, I'm obviously hoping for the best we can get.I get what your saying but I'm use to the screw ups fox has done to this franchise they won't reboot it yet they continue moving forward.
One has to wonder if the ADHD generation Y-bother even remembers that Xavier was paralyzed at the end of FC and Wolverine had bone claws at the airport. While the former is a slight possibility, I don't think their fidgety ***** sat through the credits to discover the latter, and would probably naturally assume the metal would've healed itself.
