I think the only thing that wouldn't translate to film is Wolverine's mask. But for the outfits themselves, they can be modernized into the film. Hell, most of the old school outfits have made the jump to modern in the comics in the last few years.

Yea I agree about the mask part. Don't get why he's wearing armor not like they can hurt Wolverine just poor decision making about the costumes with quicksilver being the worst.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already (I have been struggling to keep up with this thread), so apologies if it has, but apparently Singer mentioned that Rogue is still in this film;

“It was one real sequence in the movie,” rehashed Singer. But he added, “It does not mean that we won’t see her in the film. Also, I hope to make the sequence available on the DVD as she was quite wonderful in it. She is an important part of the X-Men family. I ‘m very pleased she will remain as one of Empire’s anniversary covers.”

So she appears on a "captured/killed" poster.

I don't think it would look good in the film, but on a toy I would definitely want.

Now we know why Beast is in human form. Even though it makes him like the incredible Hulk, I think it makes a lot of sense and will bring a lot to his character.

"What's happened up to this point is between the time of the last movie and this movie my character has created a serum which basically controls his mutation so his appearance is normal as long as he doesn’t get worked up. Any animal instinct or urges, that kind of brings him out. So yeah, he changes into Beast a few times throughout the story and they've done some great action sequences with him this time, particularly in the mansion flying around on these chandeliers and stuff."
