What I find interesting is that nobody mentions Mystique so far.

I'm not surprised. I don't expect a reaction to Mystique because we've seen her in so many films.

Seriously? He's accused of being part of a gay peado sex ring and there's a ton of really damaging pics of him having these gay pool parties. Fox isn't allowing him to do any interviews or promote the movie in any way and they're taking his name off everything related to the movie. I saw the first commerical for it on TV the other day and it didn't mention Singer at all.

Oh yeah Silrian, when you used "brutal", I thought you were going to list a bunch of death threats or people bashing the movie! Phew!

I'm the same way! I'm so happy they are pushing forward with the First Class characters. That's pretty brilliant to use a time travel story to transition to a "reboot" without actually rebooting. It's like how DC did Crisis on Infinite Earths, saying every story was in continuity, just happened on different parallel earths. It's a fantastic way to give a swansong for the fans, without feeling contrived. That's just admirable!

What the hell!?!? Yeah I missed that one. I have tried to stay away from the news for this film, as i don't want to run into spoilers. I hadn't even heard that. Were the people in the photos of age?

Yeah, but young. Like hundreds of 18 year old boys and porn stars and every personal assistant he's had is like an 18 year old Justin Beiber clone. Several people have now accused him of the same thing. He hangs out with a known sex offender who finds the boys and lures them to Singer with the promise of a job. As it all came out a famous Documentary filmmaker also mentioned she was already working on exposing him in her current upcoming film. It looks bad for him, no two ways around it and it's not going away soon.

If it's true, lock him up under the jail. And if it's not, I hope he is able to clear his name. But I am stunned. Kind of hard to just focus on X-Men now. THanks for the info Deckard.

Yeah, no way he comes back after this though. They will find another director to Shepherd the X-Franchise.

Let's not forget that two other major studio execs, even a ceo if I recall correctly, have now been added to the case.

IF it is true, than this is a one of the biggest hollywood schandals in history I think.

But as of yet I've no opnion. I've seen nothing nor heard anybody speak that can condemn Singer in a way beyond reproach. A few pictures of crazy parties isn't exactly surprising to me and doesn't really prove much. Not the ones I've seen.

Okay backtracked to check, a former Fox head, a top BBC America executive and the Disney TV president have been adeed to the lawsuit against Singer.

Whatever this is, if it proves legit, it's gonna hurt a LOT more people than just Singer.

Might cause an entire regime change at Fox studios...

Supposedly a few others are also still preparing their cases and have been since long before the original case was filed so these aren't copycats. The lawyer announced more cases would follow from the get-go.

Also, there is an upcoming documentary about sex abuse in Hollywood and he's the focus. You don't think that's gonna get press? He's f'd for the forseeable future, guilty or no.

Doesn't really matter anymore what Singer does or wants to do, this is about studio images, and studios, beyond any directors, will do everything to protect their investments.

If this comes to trial, which I HIGLY doubt, this is gonna get really ugly.

Well these are civil cases, however if they have actual proof of the whole sex ring thing, and because they crossed state lines, this would be a federal case. And the federal statutes for child abuse are longer than the state's. This could go to trial and it could get bad.

Well said.

Singer's/CEO incident will soon be a thing of the past.

The amount of money/lawyers behind these executives and Singer will get rid of this guys pain and suffering rather quickly.

Where's John Travolta now? That ruined him. It cost him his marriage. No one looks forward to his movies and everyone assumes he's gay.

If Singer directs another X-Men I'd be very surprised. I think he's done.

And the articles on TMZ, Variety, People, 2 days ago would prove that no, people aren't forgetting.

Just the desperate X-Men fans who can justify Pedophilia for some summer entertainment.

I don't mind the attention Singer is getting on this, because I think it is unethical. But I sure hope we get an equal amount of attention on heterosexuals doing this. Because otherwise there is a huge homophobic double standard at play when you consider how many 18 year old women (and probably younger) are no doubt treated the same way by Hollywood execs, directors, actors, etc.
