Who is justifying pedopheilia? I myself have said he's most likely done with the franchise, but all I'm saying this isn't a hot topic anymore. The Sterling situation took over, and now that's dying, some other story else will take its place.


You seem obsessed with Singer man. I'm starting to think you might have gone to one of Singer's pool parties and didn't enjoy the party or something. DOFP is looking good so far just enjoy the movie and forget what's going on behind the scenes.

Travolta was so ostracized out of hollywood that he was invited back to the 2014 Oscars as a presenter.

You are kidding right? First of all Jye was joking. An Oscar presenter doesn't mean ****.

Look at his past 15 years of movies. His career is over.

I'm not obsessed with Singer, but I'm not going to pretend like him being a Peado doesn't affect the way I will view this movie and all of his other work. He was just accused a second time 2 friggin days ago. And dismissing it as a cash grab when that's not even what happened is nonsese, nothing was settled from the first case. The timing with X-Men is bs too, that guy has been trying to file a case against Singer for over 10 years now but couldn't until recently because the law in California for the statute of limitations was changed. I see nothing that would promote Singer's innocence anywhere. If it comes out he is guilty, everyone who made fun of the rape victims is going to look like a real piece of work.

But like I said, I guess even Hitler painted a nice picture once in a while.

I don't mind the attention Singer is getting on this, because I think it is unethical. But I sure hope we get an equal amount of attention on heterosexuals doing this. Because otherwise there is a huge homophobic double standard at play when you consider how many 18 year old women (and probably younger) are no doubt treated the same way by Hollywood execs, directors, actors, etc.

Indeed, I'm all for exposing people, but this case seems dubious to me from every angle.

I kinda feel sorry for all the hundreds of people that work on these films and see their hard labour get kinda muzzled by whatever it is Singer may or may not have done that may or my not be legal and/or ethical.

And like Karamazov said, there's a LOT more of this type of **** going down in Hollywood, plenty of reasons to believe that. It's such dumb pretentious form of scapegoating to burn this film or this franchise now, because Singer might happen to be the guy who's used to open the lid. (Not meant in anyway to victimise Singer if he's guilty, ftr. But it's already clear he's the tip of the iceberg if this whole thing turns out to be legit.)

It's that typical hypocrisy that South Park always nails.

If DoFP is a great film, I'm gonna enjoy it without reserves.

What I will do though, is be excited for this movie, that plenty of other people helped make.
