Hey guys if you want some cool Avatar or Signatures to spread the love for X-Men go to Greygoose. Let's spread X all over shall we? :rock :)

I have a good feeling they'll flesh out Marsden Cyclops more in the next one.

I just caught this review: https://www.aintitcool.com/node/67440

His feelings and thoughts roughly parallel mine, including his hopes for future films to have classic costumes and more of the Claremont/Cockrum/Byrne team.

I just ran a snowden verification vpn client side ip return traffic on that review and I found this: :horror

Why would anyone want to just forget/erase X-Men and X2? Especially X2.

I'm going to go with "because they're not that great and easily forgotten in light of the vastly superior X:FC and DOFP."

Marvel needed to insert additional bromance scenes between Rodgers and Bucky to flesh out their pool party because they obviously felt what was there in TFA was not enough to make us care about Bucky's fall to the darkside.

I hope this post didn't just buy me a 50 Cal to the head, Rambo style, from Khev. :lol

:lol

Let's just say that I'm *very* glad that Johnston didn't go with the teenage Bucky from the 40's comics for Cap's first big budget film adaptation. :lol

I don't think you can discount the sentinel program being around just because they weren't being launched at all times. Remember, Singer set it up that the X men were actually partnered with the US government post X3 helping to rebuild after the destruction caused by the mutant clash,(although I have no idea if that was original or changed timeline tbh) so it's not like either time line was just an all out hate mutant timeline, there were obviously administrations that had less problems with mutants. Wasn't Hank originally introduced (Grammer) as a government liason of some sort?

I think X2 is just as good as DOFP. Definitely in the top 5 greatest superhero movies of all time.

It's difficult for me to pick one film over an other. I have a soft spot for the first film since I was only 13 when it came out and I'm just coming off the Fox animated series and went completely nuts when I found out the X-Men was being made into a film.

Spoliers ahead please do not read if you have not seen the movie

Okay if Mistique was Stryker at the end of the movie, does that mean the Weapon X project will not happen now? Or was she just rescuing him from the humans? I enjoyed the movie and think they are setting up Magneto for the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, maybe on asteroid M. Who knows, any speculations!

I think it can lead to two things, she might strike some sort if deal with Stryker and deliver Wolverine to him, or they might skip over the whole Weapon X thing and Wolverine could get his adamantium possibly from Apocalypse.

Oh.

I think X2 is way better than first class, even though I like them both.

Aw crap. I was confused as to how Bishop was somehow "pulling the whole team back in time with him" to avoid Sentinel attacks and I now realize I was way overcomplicating things in my own head. Bishop was the only one going into the past, and then he'd simply warn everyone else verbally when he got there. Duh.

And they explained it exactly this way in the movie, lol.

Ya basically they would all die every time, but Bishop would go into the past and warn them , changing the future and they would survive by going to a different place than the one they visited in the past. It's a mind **** I know, I was in awe at the ending basically they erased some of the other Xman movies. Also Banshee is dead, with Angel and the other First Class.

I said that earlier in this thread have Logan become death and he would his metal claws could be interesting.

Oh yea haha, that certainly makes sense.

I definitely want Wolverine in the villain slot, at least for a little of the next film. Although, he can't want the Adamantium from Apocalypse since he hasn't even gotten it yet. Maybe Apocalypse see's him as a viable weapon and brainwashes him into following him, which isn't out of the question considering Logan has had his head messed with PLENTY of times in the comics.
