Hm nice spotting but doesn't the post credits scene already show four horseman? Or do you assume They'd be new ones.... I don't know, I didn't like those characters much.

Actually, since Gambit is in the new movie; I wouldn't be surprised if they made him a horseman since he was one in the comics.

Gambit as a horseman is sctually a cool way to bring him to the attention of the x-men. After being released of apoc's control he reluctantly stays on the team.

I guess, since gambit is a 90s character, one would expect him as a full team member in a film after apocalypse set in the 90s. I'd rather just have him as one of the new recruits though.

Was actually surprised they left havoc for dead in dofp, thought he'd be on the team again a bit but they cast him aside again.

Man if the apoc team is wolverine, cyclops, jean, storm, nightcrawler, beast and gambit that'd be so awesome. Basically giant sized xmen but with beast and gambit instead of sunfire (was it sunfire?) and colossus. But in that case nightcrawler can't be mystique's son you'd say.

Was nightcrawler really confirmed for Apoc...?

Not confirmed, but Singer said he wanted to use Nightcrawler and Gambit in the sequel, since Gambit has been confirmed now, I’m hoping we get the same for Nightcrawler.

Tip: Empire's spoiler podcast with Simon Kinberg is pretty cool. Kinberg clarifies some awesome details from the film and why they were this way. He and Bryan genuinely fixed a lot X3 and Origins broke. Really cool.

Love how unique this film is now, in so many ways. Honestly... I think I've reached a point where I might genuinely not want a full reboot anymore. 14 years of estblished cinematic characters is pretty damn awesome.

I'll just watch the 90s tas when I want that version of x-men I gues...

Would love to see Azazel brought back as a Horseman, the scene in the compound in 1st class where the team is watching him kill all the agents through the glass was like a horror movie, all the mutants were scared ****less and screeching like teenage campers, one of the best scenes from the entire series, bummer seeing him on the kill list.

I hope all those characters stay dead. There are about a million other X-characters that deserve some love and attention. Based on my appreciation of the comics, I would like to see Banshee and White Queen stick around, but not the characters that were created in First Class.

If it's OK for Star Wars, then it's OK for X-Men. And there's a precedent. Ultimates had Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in an incestuous relationship apparently.
