Just saw this today. I was pretty intrigued by the ending that pretty much wiped out any non-Singer X-movies. That was cute.

I guess now that it made a bazillion dollars Fox is going to let Singer do what he wants.

If you're talking about the time stream changes, he pretty much did the opposite and wiped the other two movies he directed as well as X3 and a portion of Origins. You should probably check out one of those cheat sheet links someone has posted in this thread, makes it a little easer to understand I guess.

Saw the movie 2day. It was pretty good. The best scene in the movie was the quick sliver scene @ the Pentagon

Yeah I enjoyed the Quicksilver scenes, Charles should have taken him to Washington. He could have removed Erik's helm and stopped Raven, that would have made it too easy I suppose.

The fact that they ditch him is probably because it's kinda risky involving someone who could potentially do anything he wants. They never divulge the mission to him, he's simply their to break out someone. You can see the surprise in his face multiple times throughout the film what the consequences of his actions are, I love that Singer shows him seeing Eric on TV with the arena stuff, and he's like what the ****, who the hell did I just help escape!?:lol

Also, THANK GOD QS is Magneto's son.

Honestly though, isn't Wolverine 3 planned inbetween DoFP and Apocalypse? Because it'd be PERFECT if Wolverine 3 was a sequel to the new timeline where we see a more CB accurate Weapon X with Sabretooth, Omega Red and Deadpool. Perfect way for him to get his adamantium back, in time for apocalypse.

Cause, really, they have to ditch the bone claws, ruins half of wolverine action-wise. I'm addicted to hearing that metal slash through any and everything.:lol This seems the PERFECT way to me. And we'd probably get the best Wolverine film so far out of it.

I feel like I am pissing on the face of the people who said Quicksilver is going to suck and give him all the hate because of the pictures of him that they 1st released.

It blows. Fassneto is one of the most highly requested figures I've ever seen in this hobby. HT's Facebook is destroyed with people begging, literally, for him. And it looks like it won't happen.

Well if Apocalypse is gonna meet its full potential and they kick in merchandising then, there's a good chance it'll become pretty awesome.

Magneto's suit was a step in a good direction, I mean it actually had colour, COLOUR!:lol

And looking at how colourful Superman Returns, we know Singer can do it. So I hope Singer will in that sense 'marvelise' it a bit and Apocalypse might just become the best marvel property film ever for me.

Btw, X2 is still above DoFP for me. Too much awesome Wolverine action that DoFP lacked among other things.

First Class didn't get anything outside of a couple of mini mates. Sad times.
DOFP is getting Minimates, also.

Really this is the primary reason I don't buy into arguments that they aren't being licensed. You could say that Marvel/Disney is behind the scenes making threats to Hasbro or whatever, but I just don't know that Singer's character designs are as marketable to kids as the generally more colorful stuff you see from Spider-Man and Marvel Studios.
