Meh. Perhaps it will look better in the film. I'm willing to give it a chance.

Honestly, right off of the bat, I'm not 'wow'd.' It kind of reminds me of a Bay's Transformer, specifically a purple Bumblebee with clear shield (rather than opaque metal - member the 'battle mode' scenes?)

Looks like a purple Transformer.

The face is too busy (compared to the comic pic just posted). I guess that's my critique. I wish there was more of a plate to cover the face and mouth, molded in such a way to create the appearance of a nose, jaw, etc.

Yeah, these days most designs are pretty busy. Everything has to have more and more detail. Some instances it works, some not so much. So far I like this design. The only thing I don't like is the clear face plate.

Shame since this and Spider-Mans costume are better than any 2014 designs i\ve seen
