Ever think that the countries listed are the majority of the 360 sales?

Also I don't remember people complaining that the 360 wasn't released world wide all at one time. Sometimes it not the companies fault, sometimes it's the countries fault. Sometimes there are legal issues in the country that forces it to be delayed( I am guessing this is the case here).

The PS3 didn't have worldwide release either.

As was the case with previous console launches, those who couldn't get one in their country at launch (or at all) would import one, or buy online from ebay or something. Ya can't do that with the Xbox One, since it requires Xbox Live connectivity, and the requisite online check.

Correct, but did you have a fully functioning system of only offline? I mean would it if you tried to get online would it say you can't due to location?

Is there any info on whether you can transfer data from 360 hard drive on the Xbox one hard drive? I ask because if I wanted to play dragon age 3 on the new xbox and use the choices from dragon age 1&2 on my 360 hdd would I be screwed?

:clap

It's funny, because quite a few of us would have been considered XBox fanboys at one point. I know I sure was.

Today I found myself getting excited for the PS4... it was odd, but exciting because it felt like something new and different, whereas frankly, what I was looking forward to most with the new XBox was Halo, and hopefully the ability to keep playing my old XBox games. Now that it's just Halo, well... that's not enough, especially now with all the restrictions.

Speaking of that, is Bungie free to make games for other systems? Or are they completely tied/owned/whatever by Microsoft?

:goodpost:

I wouldn't consider myself a "fanboy" of either console, but having the original xbox, and the 360 and my gold acc for 8+ years, I can't see myself picking up X1 ever. They just dropped the ball IMO.

The only reason to own an xbox now is for Halo. I play Halo, but not heavily since H3 (since that was the last good game bungie put out). I can live without it.

I bought my first ps3 a couple months back, have been using it 10x's more then my Xbox. Picking up a PS4 when I can and canceling my Gold acc once I have one.

I was hoping Microsoft would learn from their mistakes over the last year and really surprise people with a great console. This just doesn't do it for me.

I guess I was an Xbox fanboy because I never bought PS2 or PS3 (just used others). But **** the X1. Would get PS4 without a question if I were to buy a new console.

I can barely understand this post. Xbox Live works on a by-region basis. If a region is not supported, you wouldn't be able to use the service.

So do I :lol. Does this mean that X-Box One graphics won't be able to match that of a well built gaming PC?

Exactly. Neither will the PS4. The demo of BF4 you saw if you watched it was running on I believe I read a 2k+ computer. The specs were never given though so that could be + or - some.

Yeah, the consoles are essentially playing catch-up with the PCs at this point in time. The news in that article isn't good for Microsoft when the word of it gets around. It's also pretty hilarious that they were using Windows 7, instead of Windows 8 (the OS used for the X-Box One) to run their games. Hey, I'm using Windows 7, too! :lol

Sony has done the same thing, that's very normal for E3

Though apparently the games on PS4 were being run on dev kits and not PC's this E3. At Least that was the fact for Naughty Dog and The Witness. They also believe the other games were being ran on dev kits as well.

I don't care about not being able to resell/give your games and all the other stuff. We're heading that way regardless, it's how Steam does it, it's how Apple does it....and it will lead to lower prices.

What's most important to me is being able to play the single player portion of games without requiring a 24 hour Internet check in. Internet outages, road trips, etc.; the console needs to operate when and where there is no Internet.

If no Internet is required to play single player games, I will be satisfied.

You will not be satisfied.
