at least Xbox live is up and running unlike that other network...

Yeah...but xbox live is a service you have to pay for and has millions of customers so its entitled to be up and running, and hasnt been attacked by loser hacker *********s unlike "that" other network which has been attacked by loser hacker *********s and is a free service which nobody has to pay for so isnt quite so entitled to be fully operational under the best of circumstances, yet alone when its being hacked.

Yeah. It's been said before on here that you get what you pay for and in this case it's nothing.

I've got 2 slims with just one HD and just swap it out to whichever one I'm playing at the time. works great.

So far in my experience, the slim is a major improvment to the older models.

I'd wait until E3 to buy one, if I were on the market for one. A lot of places currently are offering $50 gift cards with the purchase of a 360. That could be a sign that they're trying to offload stock before a big announcement or imminent price drop.

But a $50 gc isn't nothing, of course. :)

honestly, when you get something for free you have no right to complain if it's down

you do have a right to complain about security though

I just got myself an X360, I still have very few games but I have even less friends in my list. Zero. Anyone wanna add me?

I just hope ms doesn't rush out a new console on account of Nintendo announcing they have a new one in development.

Haha, haha, hahahahaha, hahahahahahahahahaha, glad i'm getting this on PS3, enjoy switching discs guys, technically it should cost more on the 360 as it has 3 times the disc production costs.

Does that factor in the price difference in making a DVD vs a Bluray disk?

ok picking up a 360...

I dont need 250 gb of HD space that the new Elite S models have...

My question, is it "safe" to buy a used 120gb Elite, or are these prone to RROD too?

It depends on when it was made, some of the later production have a more reliable chipset. But I've got an Elite from like 2008 that's doing just fine.

ok, just got an offer from someone.... $75 shipped for a Xbox 360 Pro 20 gb, bought in 2009 and hardly used.

Should i just get this? I know the older ones can get the RROD pretty easily.
