He was referring to the original. Its been out for years. Its his opinion. He's entitled to it. He also owned it so his opinion also has merrit. Considering he also admitted to owning several other SS pieces I wouldn't call it subjective either.

What's funny is how you say your playing a neutral role yet I see you make comments in this thread and several others taking various pokes to this cap and xms pricing. You own one PF. Just one. How do you know what quality vs crap is? I have hundreds of statues. Almost 80 SS PFs alone. I've seen amazing quality from sideshow (my company of choice) and I've also seen a load of QC issues and absolute garbage from them as well. What's wrong with being overly excited about a new company offering the products that keep this forum alive? I keep hearing you complain about cost and money. Realistic vs comic. Cool dude. Everyone has different financial abilities and tastes. Just because you can't afford it doesn't take away from the fact that its an awesome statue. To solely be sold on SS products is so narrow minded.
 
Just waiting to hear from secret compass if I get the coin or not. If so...think I will place an order. I agree with Tavegg. As someone with a large collection I'm just excited to support a new company. I have had a lot of frustration with ss over creativity. Sometimes you just want a solid comic representation.

It's subjective because it's entirely opinion based man. Just because some people think it is better than the new or original PF's doesn't mean that's the law. His opinion is that it's better, mine is that based on all my variables... It isn't. All opinion still.

And yes, price is an issue for me. I'm sure it is for a lot, and I post about it because it is continually brought up. And I do only own one pf right now, but does that make my opinion invalid? No. I'm still a customer aren't I?

And please quote where I've said this XM statue is crap? Please. Because I remember after a majority of my post about XM pieces, I make sure to say it is still an awesome looking piece. And if money wasn't an issue, I would get this and the SS cap. But even if I did, I'd still like the sideshow cap better.

But who cares, I only have one statue so my opinion doesn't matter. I'll just go back to posting gifs and making jokes until I have enough money to afford more statues. It's the only thing that will make my thoughts and opinions valid... :rotfl

Well I agree. I'm not going to sit here and argue about it. If I've ever come across that I was "bashing" the statue, I'm sorry Tavegg. It was not my intent. It just seemed like every 5 pages someone would say "You are only supporting SS because XM is too expensive for you. " which is not the case at all. I currently have about 980$ into statues for sure, with a possible 480$ in the wing. If I wanted this that bad I'd get it. Haha

Again, I'm sorry. Hope we can let bygones be bygones. :monkey3

I agree and were not the minority. I remember seeing people convert the original PF from PJs to fully sculpted. That was a sharp looking custom cap.

Were cool dude. No apology needed. That's part of being on a forum like this. Were allowed to have debates and sometimes they get emotional. No hard feelings man. Wasn't trying to give you a hard time. Well maybe a little but that's some of the fun in being here. I've been roasted a time or two. I never take anyone to seriously. Life's too short
