This is my first XM piece and it just arrived. First of all the packaging is bananas, unbelievable attention to detail vs the other manufacturers. The paint apps, fit and finish is perfect. The piece in person looks much better than in photos, very happy I was able to pick this up for essentially retail. If you're on the fence on this Thor, I highly recommend picking it up, just an awesome piece!

Congrats. My jaw dropped when I saw the size of the body.... and that cape!

Just received mine, this thing is a beast - as SDguy mentioned, as soon as I picked up the body I was in shock.

One question I have to those already owning, when you put on the spinning hammer in the right hand - does it rest on the extra rock (with magnet)? I see some pictures where people actually have it resting on the additional rock, but on mine there is no way I can make enough room - it sits about 1/4 inch below the additional rock. If I remove the additional rock, there is a small gap.

Just wondering, how is the placement on yours?

Secondly, anyone worried about the cape scraping up against the rock/cable protrusion in the back? Or is it supposed to provide support for the cape?

The cape resting on the rock is for support they engineered it that way to prevent any leaning issues in the future from the weight of the cape pretty cool design. The spinning hammer rock I put in after he spinning hammer and it supports that piece by touching or barely touching. The rock is there more to prevent the hand from sliding completely out In case of movement or an earthquake or the magnet giving completely out.

On mine, the extra rock fits perfectly between the spinning hammer and the base. Like AJ I put the rock in the gap after putting the hammer hand on the body. IIRC, the rock only fits in one way.... try turning it around.

And I agree, the support for the cape is a pretty clever design.

I found this photo online... mine looks the same.

First, congrats on the pick up.

I touched on the cape/cable contact in my unboxing video (around the 13:10 mark in the video below). The cables (at least the top one) are not only legit copper cables, but the top wire is rubber coated to prevent any paint rubs with the cape resting on it. It's an extremely clever design.

Thanks for your feedback guys - nice to know that they built copper wires purposely to provide a rest spot for the cape.

There may be something fault with my spinning hammer or rock, no way I adjust it allows for the hammer to rest snuggly or on the additional rock. It hangs down too low.

Cant believe this just sold for 650 delivered on Ebay a few days ago via auction.
