He said he'd update us on what he would be doing with the preorder but he never did. In fairness, he did get caught off guard about the launch and I think he was left scrambling. None of the US retailers had many. I'd guess there were less than 30 between the 3.

Yes and the important thing is also that XM has taken note of this and has taken steps to rectify this and not leave people freaking out at a moment's notice.

Which makes it even more bizarre that he would change the price to that AFTER it sells out.

Fars as I know people were just emailing him for info, If Mark's inbox is any sign, SpecFiction is probably still sorting out all the emails from the last 2 days.. He probably got spammed by several hundred emails as people panic to find one...

ladies and gents i want to apologize…i contacted spec fiction initially just randomly and the guy replied…i told him about our board and how a bunch of us were interested…i asked him for a discount, since it would be a bunch of us ordering..he told me 15% off…anything I posted was directly related to me from him…as people had purchased from them before and their name had buzzed around, I trusted. I haven't had a reply back since I think Friday or whenever the quick sell happened, and I am sorry that I put that out there like that and it wound up being bs (clearly by the 3 grand outrageous price)…I wouldn't normally air this type of stuff out but felt compelled due to the way everything went down...

You tried to help out the whole community. That is more than many do.

You have made way more posts defending him than he did himself. I honestly don't care what he does as I wasn't looking for one. But what he did was completely illogical, puzzling to me. If many people email him about the statue. He told some of them he would get back to them. A couple days later, he decided I would just put it up whenever and it is sold out, price change to $3k. Without notifying anyone. All his did was hurt his own business. Easiest way to contact a lot of people is on the 2 forums which he is certainly aware of.

He could have put it up with inventory of 0 to get people off his back. No one mentioned they got one from that site so far.

I've bought several statues from him over the last year and he's always been a straight shooter and with the GG and DC statues he's always given me a better price then the other venders, so I just hate to see the lynch mob going after him when we don't know the whole story... That's all...

No problem standing by someone you have dealt with. Maybe you can pass on some info when you have something concrete . Seeing as there appears to a technical error.

I hope XM does a new sabertooth, psylocke and rogue. I was not blown away by the SS versions of any of those. Especially wolverine. But at least now we have wolverine covered

If they get a US license, they will either have to raise prices or raise ES by a lot. Do you really want that?
