XM Studios Thor, Magneto and Wolverine Concept!!

Yeah the more I look at that Mags I see it is 3D, sorry about that. Good news is their packaging looks like it is ready for international use since these are coming from Singapore. XM Studios is officially licensed Marvel productions.

They're looking for input on what statues to make next on their Facebook site. Looks like someone suggested Gambit....heres is more designs for possible future stuff...and they are SSC fans, check out the Black widow comparison.

I'm starting to really re-think my statue strategy... When I first got into this hobby about 2 years ago I was pretty much collecting everything, now space is a premium and I'm starting to think the better route is to collect the more high-end statues, this would free up a lot more space while giving my collection a lot more appeal to it... By the time you add up all the money you have spent on cheaper statues you could have some seriously nice pieces and have less clutter to boot...

Just based on pictures it does seem XM quality is ahead of SS, plus a low edition size and lots of extras make that $700 price tag look not quite as bad.

If this thing lives up to it's potential and comes out as designed - imo this will be the best 1/4 scale Magneto to date and on a throne!

I like the Throne both includes a Sentinel component and Charles School Emblem...

If I am not mistaken I think I see part of the X-Men BlackBird on the throne also.

I have been in contact with some of the people at XM and they are seriously considering a Brown Wolverine featuring an unmasked portrait similar to the Eric Sosa private commission portrait I posted on page 33.

Really want Gambit next and Daredevil. I can see them murdering those two characters sculpts.

Yeah. Gambit with 5 switch out hands probably. Haha. I too think XM gambit would be huge!

Thanos would be my pic for the next sculpt. I'd like to see something that hasn't already been done by SS. Why bother competing when you can produce the only one. Well in 1/4 scale at least. Look at how many peeps are foaming at the mouth for a Magneto. I get that the sculpt and idea is amazing all in its own and he's probably the most popular Marvel villain there is, but XMs is also the only one there is. I've been hoping for someone to finally make a Thanos. Make it so XM

Infinity gauntlet and the cosmic cube could be a switch out for his left hand and the right hand a normal clenched fist
Then you could do both hands like the bottom pic for a completely different look

Technically you could do a light up on everything. Cube, Gauntlet, two switch out arms (think Green Lantern EX and how well it turned out). Clenched fist would be the only one that didn't light up. The options are endless.

Agreed! If there's going to be a light up feature coming from them, Thanos would definitely do the trick. (Sorry sick of IM light up features) There are so many ways you could make that statue look amazing. Plus the sheer size of him in 1/4 scale... OMG forget it. I can't even handle the excitement I would have for this statue. Just make it so XM

Very good point buddy... Best to take first swing, and let SS play catch up. Once the collector have Brown Wolv or Thanos 1/4, they will wait for SS to make a super wow version for them to lure buyers in, or else they just sit and watch from the fence.
