Thank you for the PM guys. He does look great. Is the metal a bit too big or is it just me?

The only thing that looks off to me about this new sculpt is the expression, too serious, but everyone screams to high heaven when they do an expressive sculpt so I can't fault SSC for giving him the poker face.

I love the neutral look. Facial expressions (To me atleast) make the figure too limiting. Don't we all like to pose our figures multiple stances and gestures not just one? I wish they all would come like that (hopefully Sideshow will fix the eyes on the Leia...she looks great regardless).

Funny you are not the first to mention that but the medal is a little out of scale but not by that much.

While he is not smiling or anything, I rather think the expression seems quite pleasant as if he is about to smile. The eyes do look a bit determined, but hey, he just blew up the Death Star!

I find neutral expressions equally limiting. I mean, no one looks perfectly calm when they're fighting. I'm not opposed to neutral expressions, but I do get tired of seeing the same exact dead-pan expression 99.9% of 1/6 sculpts seem to come with.

Besides, it's not like there's a whole lot posing options for this Luke.

Agreed. I like this scuplt for this figure, but I do hope they go for something a little different on a Tatooine Luke or Luke X-wing. Let's face it, Luke goes through a whole range of emotions in the film- SS should capitalize on it.

Besides the medal being a little too big, I really like it. I think the sculpt really fits. And I wouldn't have known about the pleats if it hadn't been pointed out.
