I will be surprised if the star wars dio line continues much longer.

Their value has tanked by more than 50% in the after market. I would have literally saved thousands if I had not pre-ordered directly from SS.

I, and I would suggest many collectors, have learned that hard lesson. That is why the leia vs jabba exclusive is still available despite the small edition size. The same will hold true for this as well as the upcoming ani vs sandpeople.

I will wait 1-2 years after they are released and get them for considerably less $$.

Well maybe SS has to make the more asked Dio's like the Vader V.S. Luke (TESB & ROTJ version) and not do some random dio's...
Although a Chewie choking Lando would be awesome

I hope they make Luke vs. Vader from ESB and ROTJ. And I really want ROTJ's to include the Emperor on his throne.

I intend to get this piece down the line, I just have a few other items I need to get to first.

Definitely is. I've seen it at our local seller. It's pretty good but I think the emperor's face looks over sculpted.

it was made, but not very popular. I believe they lowered the edition size as a result and it is still readily available.

they also decided to NOT include the light up feature...and of course made no mention of the change.

Hey, thought I'd share some long overdue pics of this one. Had it for months, just been way behind on taking pics. Overall, I really like this piece. It's actually grown on me a lot since I first bought it. It really goes well next to the Obi Wan vs Anakin dio.
