Sorry for the hostility man. I just kinda hate how bee soiderman cintebt can’t just have Spider-Man be by himself for five minutes without putting in another Spider-Man person. I feel like every SpidermAn guy works best by themselves but hey that’s me personally. I guess I’m just getting old lol

No worries. I get it. It does make those scenes or stories that focus on them, alone, sweeter though.

I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this. There were some changes that didn’t make a lot of sense, race swapping Osborn didn’t bother me at all and I thought that guy played him exceptionally well but Dr Conners was a weird one, changing race AND sex seems like your just trying to goad the audience. I don’t imagine her Lizard form will be a big monstrous apex predator, I’m imagining they will keep her shapely female form and that’s just not as threatening (sorry ladies). Yeah they gender swapped Doc Oc for Spiderverse and I didn’t mind that I’m just saying a female Lizard is going to be less scary.

Just seems incredibly lazy at this point. Whenever writers want to alter an existing character all they can think to do is gender/race swap them. It's all just window dressing. They don't do anything wholly original or interesting (at least most don't) with the alteration.

I just finished this and it was great. This and xmen were both fantastic, as was the recent batman show. Good time to be a fan of comic cartoons.

I'm nearly finished. One episode left. Overall I'm enjoying it but I can't help but feel the mishmash of designs/ideas doesn't completely gel. It's odd to me that we have classic Pete/Spidey (complete with big 'ol nerdy glasses) and Doc Ock but Homecoming era Aunt May, completely new versions of Tombstone and Connors and new love interests/friends. Mixes in the Future Foundation suit and nearly everyone already knows that Pete is Spidey (he does not hide it well).

Just feels like they were grabbing stuff from random Spidey media and throwing it in the blender.

I was struck by the fact that so much seems to directly reference the MCU (chitauri, civil war, time stone, etc.), except everything directly related to spidey is completely different.

Norman as a more menacing Tony stark is an interesting idea, though. And they did a great job setting up doc ock.
