Not Rob Zombie! Wait, you don't like the original sequel? :horror

I do. It actually scared me just as much as the first when I was a kid... and whenever they played that "Mr. Sandman" song on the radio, it reminded me of the movie.

Watching A Nightmare on Elm Street now ('84).

Nope. It pales in comparison to the first. Kinda like Jaws 2 and Superman II.

I very dislike any of the remakes out there. However, for the original Halloween 2, I'm not ashamed to say I rather like it. It's not perfect but it does have Michael in it and that's enough for me cause he's awesome.

All Halloween is good Halloween, even the remakes :wave

I wish that were true. :(

Halloween 4 - What the hell is up with that mask? :lol
Halloween Resurrection, starring Busta Rhymes. Need I say more?! :panic:

At least with H2O, we got Jamie Lee Curtis one last time.

I like Zombie's take on the franchise. More back story about Michael and the family and I think it was done well.

And I'll never forget Halloween 3 which gave us this:

Well some were worse than others of course, but I did enjoy a little bit of the 2 you mentioned. They weren't great, no. I really like the Zombie ones even though a lot of people hate on them.

Careful, one member here adores Season of the Witch. ;)

I really do like 2 as a compliment to the original. Don't we find out Laurie is his sister in that one? Or am I having a massive aneurism as I type?

I actually like 3 as well, but I don't consider it a Halloween series movie.

And you're right about the sibling thing. I do remember that much about it.

I just finished Hammer's version of The Phantom of the Opera. It was pretty wild seeing Alfred from the 1989 Batman playing an a-hole.

I still haven't decided what my Sept 1st movie is going to be. I'm going to choose wisely so I can kickstart this horror movie watching the right way! :rock

My daughter saw my Hammer DVD set out last night and said "It's not Halloween yet." :lol

I told her I was starting early this year. :D

Wasn't it established in the beginning by Dr. Loomis, that they were related?
They also showed the scene where Dr. Loomis was at the graveyard and the guy there said the tombstone was stolen. The tombstone of their older sister. Then we see it on the bed late in the movie. Judith Meyer.
Could be I'm the one having an aneurism. :D
