Actually, I don't know if you've heard, but it isn't quite a remake. From what Sam Raimi has said, They are going to Make an Evil Dead 2 and an Army of Darkness 2 and then do a movie that merges Mia and Ash's storylines into one film.

It could be EPIC!!

Yup! A sort of hint at what's to come.
Glad you liked the movie. I thought it was OK myself. A lot of the die-hard fans seem to judge it too harshly.
If it was titled something completely different (read, not "Evil Dead") it would be a great movie that holds up on it's own.

Actually, it's Curse of Frankenstein I ordered. I haven't seen any reviews specify the region coding, but I'll try it in my regular player when I receive them for the heck of it.

I'll be interested to hear about Evil since they're also releasing Brides of Dracula on the same day (August 26). Can't have too much Hammer.

There is way to make all dvd players region free.theres is a code you do with the remote and set the region to 0.search on line for the codes according to you dvd player
