Saw Gangster Squad yesterday. Fantastic film, loved just about every minute of it. Suffered however from a weak intro and ending, but the shootouts are awesome, watching those Tommy guns tear into the environment is heart pounding stuff. I'd give it a solid 8/10. Ryan Gosling's performance is, as usual, near perfect.

Just watched Dredd, barely worth the rental.

Gonna go see either ZDT or GS tomorrow. Either way, I'll see em' both throughout this week.

Gonna watch "Savages" now.

Just finished watching ZDT,

Great movie, was really on the edge of my seat for the last 40 minutes.

I kinda thought the raid on Osama would have been more explosive/dramatic though.

No not at all- they executed it exactly how it went down with the SEALs in real life. I.e. being shot at first, UBL unarmed, whispering Khalid's name and then having him poke his head around the corner, etc. That was my favourite scene of the raid, just watching that dumb SOB get his head blown off. Curiosity certainly killed the cat haha.

I wouldn't. I hear the night scenes are grainy, and it's SO worth it to watch it in the theatre. The sound is amazing on the breaches... especially in 7.1.

I haven't been looking forward to the film and I won't pay to see it in theaters so it's good enough for me.
